There should be a 120fps mode, this is the only viable option for racers these days. I complained so much about GT 7 for not having it on launch. And now the masters of resolution and fps at MS don't deliver this, instead they focus on a true next gen experience at 30fps I guess.

There is a lot of focus on 30fps modes, to the detriment of 60+ fps at MS this year. This is embarrassing, but they have more important things to worry about.
I am ridiculously late, but this is a great point.

Remember all the hype about 120 FPS gaming, and how many games supported it? It’s incredible how much that’s diminishing not only in the racing field, but games in general.

I do realize that games are becoming more taxing the further we get away from launch, and the more they shift to using next-gen. Even something cross platform like RE4 remake seems to have a workload more on the next-gen side.

But what’s stopping them from turning off the ray tracing, going down to 1080p or just under, and enabling that as an interesting option? Both games. Especially considering GT7 can pull the impressive feat of running in VR? Maybe it’s more complicated than I think to reclaim that headroom, but it’s surprising how the 120 stuff is just… disappearing.

I agree with turning off RT for better performance and less graphical hit.

Well series s obviously. How they can justify that potato performance if they promised performance parity

I think at this point everyone knows they lied about the exact same games at 1440p, which is so absolutely cringe to read back after the real world results.

Gotta just bite the bullet and do what’s best for both systems. If someone paid $300 for their next-gen system, they shouldn’t necessarily expect 60 and 120 FPS.

I mean Microsoft as a company lies so much that at this point I doubt everthing they say and am plesantly surprised if they come through. Next up Hell blade 2 😂
I wish Hellblade 2 would ship in the state we would expect a female led God of War type game, but at this point I don't even know it can happen under current xbox management.

It'll Def not be tht, you Wilding. If part one is anything to go buy it'll be monotonous and very restricted. Yes the budget "may" be bigger now and scope but I don't expect them to veer away tht far from original.

Ninja Theory doesn’t have the ability to do any better.
