Insomniac is either crunching or they have the shit down to a science so well that they can work on multiple AAA at once and launch 1 per year.
They got that Ratchet and Clank money.
Joking aside, insomniac typically makes platformers, they are easier to make than the open world games the rest of sie are working on now.

True. They have a mixture of a lot of games coming next year from online to single player, from first party to second party to 3rd party.

They'll be fine lol

I don't know how everything will lay out of for them regarding releases but it could very well be something like this

2024

FairGames
Concord
Ronin
Stellar Blade
Death Stranding 2
FFVII Remake part 2
etc

2025
Last Of Us Factions
Wolverine
Sony Bend new IP
Marathon

2026
Sony Santa Monica New IP
Naughty Dog New IP (by uncharted team)
Ghost Of Tsushima 2

2027
Horizon Zero Dawn 3
GT8
Team Asobi platformer
Sony London new IP
Spiderman 3 (cause Insomniac does what they want)

it can be literally any combination of that.
I can't wait until 2025 for wolverine, so much can change in the meantime!

Insomniac hasn't made a platformer in decades.

Hmm not sure if you remember, but Sony only release one-two AAA first party a year since 2016.

2013: Nope
2014: Nothing but a racing game
2015: Second Party exclusives like Until Dawn and Bloodborne
2016: Uncharted 4, magnum opus
2017: GT Sports and Horizon
2018: 2 big titties
2019: Kojimbo walking simulator second party
2020: Two big titties

So since PS5:
2020: Demon's Souls and a 50 dollars expansion
2021: Ratchet
2022: 3 big titties
2023: A DLC and Spider-man 2
2024: Stelass, Rise of the Freeloader, and Kojimbo walking simulator which are all second party. Nothing from first-party confirmed yet.

Seem pretty in line to me.
Square kinda carry Sony this year and next year and probably the following year so let's give them that.

It's the way you are intentionally skipping out titles from the PS4 era to push this dumb argument of yours.

lmfao very soon it will be

"Death Stranding 2 is no example"
"Ghost Of Tushima 2 is no example"
"Ratchet is no example"
"Sony Bend new IP is no example"
"Ico remake is no example" lol

Nice strawman. Insomniac is literally no example since they are an exception, not the rule.

You're not arguing in good faith.

I intentionally put out The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 because they are not matter to the poster. He make post shitting on some other AA Japanese games so why does this matter to him?

I'm not even referring to those games lol. Both of you are obviously using nit picked strawmans arguement one up each other.

Do I missed anything? Pretty sure no
Quite a few in-fact but it's whatevs. I just found it funny you're underselling the PS4 to prop up your defense of Sony's current mismanagement of WWS.

Yeah. I didn't include all published titles because by doing that it would be an absolute murder when compared with 2022 and 2023

So I don't "missed" anything?

The whole conversation lacks so much IQ, and it is not my fault.

We got... GT6, Ratchet, The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Killzone... alone in 2013??? That's a huge ass list of games to just overlook 🤣

I get that! I understand why 2022 was dry and I'll give them a pass for that but this year? It's just failure at the highest level. Imagine if they didn't have Insomniac in their roster it would be a total disaster.

So do I have to include PS4 games to PS5 portoflio now?

Don't you have to since almost all of them are cross gen? 😅
GT6: yea the game that include f**ing PS2 model cars and tracks. It is so pointless because they need money to fund their multiplayer project and it is not as shameless as GT5 Prolouge.

But hey GT Sports and that FIA license worth it I guess.

TLOU: Same for TLOU2 PS4 to PS5, except they don't charge you anything.

Beyond Two Souls: Same as TLOU situation.

Killzone:

2013 is 2020 though.
Also I forget about Infamous, my bad. But 2014, PS4 got 2, PS5 got 2 so fair and square?
