Game play is great. Fun powers and magic. Parkour is addicting. Fun open world map. Plenty of enemies, plenty of fast travel ports, forgiving when getting stuck while parkouring, it has the most important ingredients for being a fun game for me. The negatives? The babbling guy that is built into her arm bracelet, shitty user interface and her overuse of the word fuck (and I use the word fuck a lot).
Haha, yeah, I'd heard the bracelet was a bit grating. I played Hellblade 2 last month and the voices started to overstay their welcome really quickly once they started trying to solve puzzles for me.

I'll put Forspoken back on the wishlist!

I played the forspoken demo, it seemed that creators really disliked the characters.

I played final fantasy crisis core reunion, fantastic game if you love old jrpg's. Since the backstory of Zack, a character that is mentioned but not explored in ff7 while being pivotal to the whole story.

Played ff7 remake old save game, as always with final fantasy dropped it just before the last boss.

But the dialogue and characters and the atmosphere just sucked and hampered the game.

That is how forspoken felt to me. But then dialed to level 10, and without the highs of ff7 remake.

I feel like Crisis Core Reunion is commonly overlooked, but I think it's actually one of the better rounded games in the FF franchise. It helps that the protagonist is easily the most charismatic in the entire franchise.

I actually did Crisis Core -> FFVII -> FFVII Remake (chronological order) when I played for the first time this year. I thought it made FFVII a bit more entertaining, because I spent the whole game wondering what would happen, based on the setup from Crisis Core.

I think the pacing on FFVII Remake was much better than FFVII 1997, and the action keeps things a bit more engaging. Though, admittedly, the final boss for it is not fantastic. The super bosses are alright, but I'm not thrilled that they gated them behind two playthroughs.

Started Alan Wake 2. Have Hogwarts Legacy, Stray and another playthrough of Silent Hill 2 to go.

Waiting for Legacy of Kain SL next month.

Sarted Metro Awakening on PSVR2 but an hour in my right cobtroller broke. Won't register a full press on R2. Tested it out on PC and it only gives me a third of the value it should.

Gonna have to see if the repair service here can even try and fix it. There is an official PS repair store here but I'm not sure they can even attempt this.

If not, it's either risk it with a used controller online or just get the the whole thing again.

Started Alan Wake 2
It's still locked on the Epic store, but I do definitely want to give it a try someday.

Hogwarts Legacy, Stray
I picked these up during the Halloween sale last month. I'm excited to give them a try.

Silent Hill 2 to go
I think they did such a good job with the remake. I love the audio effects and ambient sound.

my right cobtroller broke.
I'm so tired of controllers breaking. I usually burn at least two controllers a year (more if Fromsoftware releases a game). 90% of them have gone to stick drift, so I've started buying Hall Effect controllers which seem to help. Though, I lost my last controller to the bumpers just breaking apart in my hands, lol.

started playing Tails of Iron. Pretty decent sidescrolling hack-and-slash platformer so far.

I finished RDR (not 100% it) and got undead nightmare halfway through and now I am playing GTA IV Gay Tony DLC which I never completed back in the day.

RDR I found it pretty overrated TBH. Graphics are pretty mid even for a 2010 game and the story and characters pale in comparison to other Rockstar games. It only got interesting at the end when Dutch showed up. If there is a RDR3 it should have Dutch as a playable character.

Undead nightmare is just a series of uninteresting fetch quests and hordes. Cool weapons but mission variety was ass.

Maybe they didn't think RDR was going to be such a success and didn't assign that much budget to it? Because I find GTA IV to be a way better game even visually.

I remember only mildly enjoying RDR when it first launched. I think they made a lot of improvements with RDR2.
