I'm like 90 percent sure it will be someone who already works at Sony. Once Jim leaves, Sony CEO will take over until he can find a replacement. He won't be the permanent PlayStation CEO because that's way too much work for him to do that AND his current job.

They are likely to name someone even more committed to GaaS/mobile than Jim Ryan going by the guy that they name as the interim CEO. Hopefully MS gigantic size will scare Sony away from their awful current direction but I doubt it.

Shu would be the ideal guy for the job but I don't see it happening other than him I would like some young guy with at least some background as a game producer but not Hulst.

Game does look cool. I’m buying it on steam though if I play it :)
This is the way gentlemen. Water under the bridge and all that, aih?
Takes a big man to apologize, but also to accept said apology.

Teezzy I tried apologizing and making amends with your friend Malcom (in the middle) but instead of talking things out with me he said I was apologising for the wrong thing, then accused me of doing the very thing I was apologizing for. 🤷‍♂️

Malcom?

I want Cerny handing the machine.
I want Butler and Marcus as the advertising/E3 speaker/Phil Spencer parodies.

Who handled the late PS3 into PS4 era behind the scenes, where crossbuy/play/saves were a regular thing, PS+ was a wothwhile quality of service, and you got the sense of a little ecosystem of devices PS3/4/PSP/Vita/mobile&pc remoteplay/psnow streaming apps that could interact to different levels of success. That Sony felt like the DC being online focused before broadband, setting-up for the future when tech caught-up. Then they scaled-back PSNow's reach, refused to give Vita more buttons despite a few revisions, and sorta got lost for 10 years dicking around with TV services and phone streaming fans. That PS3 direction would suite today's tech level so much better. Get whomever that guy was back.

Yeah, no...it seems like you're still stuck in 2009-2012.

Sounds like a porn star name
Sound like big tech executive name more for me, and he is that.

Eh I remember going to stores with my friend to "assignment DVDs" back in collage, there is a lot of actress name Aoi in the catalogue
So my brain just associate that name with that field actresses, ignoring first names.

Imagine if 10-15 years later I got a granddaughter name Aoi, good lord.

Nah, i play my Series X most of all my consoles. Been running through Skyrim SE on it lately. I have a PC, PS5, Switch, and Steam Deck too though.

Usually Im so tired after work I just watch a movie or my Babylon 5 DVDs. 🤷🏿‍♀️
I recently got a steam deck and would like to konow your experience with it, as I am a new owner. After having some trouble setting everything up on my 1st day (doing mostly emulation, with some Steam games) I do find it good.

I also have a Steamdeck, also for mostly emulation. It's fantastic. There's a lot of guides on YouTube on how to get set up. I've got EmulationStation on my Steam Library, which then brings up all my Retro consoles/games, which are running off Retroarch. I love it.

Honestly, I have so many Steam titles that emulation isn't something which Ive bothered to fuss with yet. Ive heard great things however

I'm gonna be honest wichu fam.
Emulation is something you do if you're poor as fuck, or if you cant stand 20fps on nintendo hardware.

There are so many good modern games that unless you are playing childhood games for nostalgia, most old games just don't cut it anymore.

Lol, im not one to disagree entirely. Most of the old games which interest me are old JRPGs. For whatever reason those titles are timeless to me while others have aged like mud

So many QoL advancements over the years. I despise the narrative of gaming being better in the past and new games being dogs shit in comparison 😒
