Their Xbox estimate seems to be totally wrong. We've seen PS enlarging their marketshare vs XB in all the main markets during the recent years.

So the distance between both must be larger now that some years ago, which already was bigger than 2:1. It must be close or above 3:1.

PC gaming is not in decline.

The ESTIMATE of that Aldora Intelligence nobodies is that it did decrease ONLY for last year after being growing since basically everywhere.

According to estimates of known and prestigious agencies like IDG or Newzoo it keeps growing:

And well, the Steam userbase keeps growing.

Maybe you're not understanding. Steam userbase continues to grow but the revenue isn't continuing to grow for hardware. That is a precursor to software sales decline.

Both Nvidia and AMD have warned of decline.

Costs are rising which means if sales were even level, revenue would be up. The reality is Costs are up and revenue is down which means significantly fewer consumers.

Steam players are significantly cheaper than console players. Them playing Counterstrike actively does not constitute in some way sustained growth in PC gaming...

Sony fumbling the bag and chasing PC, devalued their platform, eroded trust and brand optimism to chase a dying platform... When Mobile is where they should have been focused on all along and it wouldn't have competed with their console.

Good going

I understood it perfectly: Steam userbase and game revenue continues growing and there are no sign that lead to think they'll stop.

If during some time the GPUs/other hardware are too expensive for the people temporally these GPUs will sell less until they drop prices. But people will continue playing and buying games even if updating less frequently their hardware or buying less powerful hardware.

Holiday Season will most likely give a good push, since people will only care about PS5 and PS5 Pro.
For sure... I do see the Black Friday/Cyber Monday and even yes the Christmas and January 2025 sales indeed helping to boost the PS5/PS5 Pro sales for sure as it's the right time to get one during November 2024-January 2025 no doubt!

Fuck yeah baby!!! Fuck all the mother fuckers who thought it was 3 to 1 worldwide. It's ONLY 2.2 - 1 or some such shit. lmfao

Joking aside, the 28m+ is better than I was expecting. Will probably end up at around 40m once the next Xbox console releases in Fall 2026.
