I can see being nominated for GOTY.

Zelda will be tough to compete with imo. I personally think the Zelda is overrated, but Zelda is Zelda lol.

There could be plenty of other surprise that we have no clue of yet. Hopefully Sony cooked something more besides Spider Man 2 for the holidays. I personally want TLOU Factions the most from Sony this year.

For MS I am excited and skeptical of Starfield at same time. If they can pull of what they did with Skyrim it'll be a game to be talked about for years to come.

Diablo 4 is looking absolute fire and seems like it will bring back the Diablo roots. I know a ton of people who can't wait to play it badly, me included.

Whether you like Zelda or not you know damn well it will score very high as always. I personally didn't care for BotW. The weapon breaking pissed me off and turned me off from the game.

TLOU Factions has huge potential to come out of nowhere and surprise the fans and newcomers alike. Especially with all the TLOU hype from the show these days. I enjoyed the original MP mode from TLOU.

I think Starfield will be like a AAA version of the current version of No Man's Sky, which is a decent game but not my taste personally.

Ehh I forgot about FF16 and FF7 Rebirth. Good catch lol.

Don't think SF6 has a chance. It's a fighting game which is kind of niche and nit as main stream.

Atomic Heart looks really good, but them being a Russian developer it might be too political for them to consider. Wo Long looks good, but i don't think it will be as hard hitting as Starfield, Zelda or any of the Sony titles.

What about Armored Core 6? Can From Software get another goty? They did with Sekiro and Elden Ring.

While I agree that Blizzard launches are usually pretty shitty and can be annoying, they don't usually last a week. Most of them go for a few days. WoW DF was okay on the 2nd day. Overwatch 2 I think took less than 4 days to get back to normal when I was trying to play it and write a review for it.

Idk how bad it will be with Diablo 4. I remember error 37 with Diablo 3, but the game still received high praised reviews and sold really well. Diablo 4 will easily top Diablo 3. I don't believe the server issues will be the main reason why it won't have a chance at GOTY. Sorry. Also, it being an online game has nothing to do with it winning or losing GOTY. yeah, D3 had bad launch. didn't work. or you had to wait in the long queue. missed content. the market was abused etc..

They'll say it's trying to copy Nier Automata. Which will bite them in the butt because Yoko Taro has been telling his fans since the reveal trailer 2021 that he want's them to keep their eyes on it. Well made ad that I think will help convince people to upgrade. But I think they forgot to mention next gen exclusive games showing a short sizzle video of the best existing and upcoming ones like Demon's Souls Remake, Returnal, Ratchet, Spider-Man 2, Suicide Squad or Pragmata, just to name a few of them. With that it would be perfect.
