I really don’t think a few anonymous devs in favor of the deal is going to make a difference. If the cma is against the deal there is more than enough evidence to be against it and they seem to be more informed than Microsoft astroturfers would have you think. Chris dring pointed out console splits today and I don’t think those do Microsoft any favors in the uk. I still think the deal is dead in the uk and If Microsoft is still trying to appease the eu then it’s probably not the sunshine and rainbows resetera makes it all out to be there either. In my opinion.
I agree that the argument that Sony has a monopoly in the UK market isn't a very good one based on the hardware numbers. Differences in software sales just come down to how long it has taken them to put out compelling content, as well as Gamepass changing the way content is consumed on there in general.
EU passing the deal is a much safer bet, CMA Is the real hurdle for MS in order to get the deal approved.
FTC is just stalling for time and I don't see them having any impact other than trying to make MS peace out themselves because of the time delay.

The CMA has made it clear that their outlook is the long view of the health of the market, not the immediate desires of companies or consumers, which is what it should be.

Barely even that. If you've got your feeds set up right (you follow the people who tend to break gaming news first), Twitter is easily better. I'd even say GAF is better for gaming news too.

There are many in NA like these patriotic clowns. Xbox brand being American is the reason a lot of people buy it first and foremost.
