All I see is people who are thinking about the overall impact this deal might have on the industry. So where are your facts about that 90%?

Also if you do not like it, leave? I’ve been on gaf and been treated badly, same on Reee and I am not even emotionally attached to brands.
There’s no space for much freedom on speech on those places.
I think this site is healthier and more balanced.
if you can come up with facts or at least reasonable basic logic of how business works, or come with with history which can support your arguments, it is fair play, people will listen even if disagree.

but this meat can't even make a comment which would pass Amoeba's IQ level.

How soon do you guys think it will be before sony starts to announce their new acquisitions? Next week sometime? Monday? I guess a silver lining for them is that while this deal is still tangled up for at least another 3-4 months they have time to wheel and deal. At this point i wouldnt be surprised if budgets are out the window and they start to make some panic moves.

Square Enix could happen in 2023. Maybe before Square Enix moves into their new Headquarters in 2023 November.

Remember guys Shibuya is the most expensive place in whole Tokyo and it’s pretty close to Sony’s HQ. Only a couple of meters away… It’s 4x times bigger than their old one in Shinjuku. Shinjuku is home to many Multi-plat gaming companies and very cheap compared to noble Shibuya. Either Sony will announce before Square Enix’s move into new HQ or in early 2024. I think this depends on their Mid-term plan. Also the new CEO has Playstation roots… And he is coming from a Metaverse company. Guys don’t forget Sony’s recent push for Metaverse and NFTs (PSVR2, Epic investment, Patents for NFT etc.)

The saddest part of this all is that LuLu's and Bobby's deranged behavior has been rewarded. Rich people really never fail.

The sexual predator and the union buster, both great people 😂

And I can't wait for all those unions to come once the merger is complete. And for Microsoft not to lay off people, of course, and go on a hiring spree.

I wonder if Japan's government will ask sony and nintendo, maybe some other japanese companies to invest/acquire japanese publishers to protect them from forign buyouts now that this consolidation arms race is in full swing? I saw someone post hat Japans government wants japanese companies to invest in gaming.

He seems to ignore that Sony’s revenue will decrease and MS’s will increase… why are we taking this guy seriously again?
Sony rev should increase. i believe under abk sony took a smaller cut of each game sold. Under MS Sony’s cut would increase up to 30%. So if sales continue for PS then Sony would make more money + whatever they save from not spending marketing dollars on cod.

Where it’s at.
I guess the mistake in the CMA's calculation is what threw it oh well. I would rather MS had invested in their own studios along with some indies and bought out some smaller studios that actually need the financial stability.
I hope Xbox users like mobile games and COD cause it sounds like that's MS's focus now that the Bethesda/smaller studio purchases hasn't swayed the console market the way they wanted.
None of those purchases have resulted in any notable releases to date.
