You talk about wanting Sony to invest in 1st party by acquiring more teams, but it doesn't change the fact those games will still take upwards of four years to make anyway. You will still be waiting no matter how many they buy. At least with the 3rd exclusives the wait for more 1st party content...

Jeff does clarify that he isn't entirely sure if it is an SoP or a Showcase. All he knows is it's a "PlayStation "something" in May. It could be showcase - that was the case last year around the same time.

Worth noting that games aren't made in order, so his comment on early work doesn't necessarily suggest the project is still in early development. They're cooking. Let's hope whatever Cory is working on potentially gets revealed at a showcase this year.
