PC has fuck up console sales & focus on PS consoles as core. 25 million was & easy target & could’ve been achieved if they didn’t just had 1 first party games & had 2/3 maybe buy Capcom or Square Enix or both to bolster first party singleplayer games? Does PS expect to compete w Nintendo & PC if they’re porting there games to PC & just releasing 1 first party game? Steam is slowing building a console w PS & Xbox games. Nintendo easily release 4 first party games if not more (ofc smaller scale but still) & break records by doubling down on console & making it clear if you want to play Nintendo games you HAVE to buy a Nintendo console. Nixxes focus should be becoming a new Bluepoint remaking & remastering games w the focus of releasing games on PS not devaluing PS for PC. You can expand to PC & Mobile w live service (Nintendo does the same w live service & Mobile)

People never said they won't have games this year. They launched a successful GaaS a few days ago and have FF this month. But they won't have a single first party game in over a year and didn't have any 1st party game announcements in 3-4 years now.
The majority of people in forums are PS fans because, guess what, it's the biggest brand.
In our defense we wish for the death of Xbox because it fucking sucks and pretty much always did.
I personally welcome better competition that will actually make Sony sweat and believe me, competition is on it's way.
Porting 5 games to PC & having maybe 1 or non first party for the PS5 console will be a slap in the face seriously as a PS gamer I’m actually thinking of moving all of my investment to Nintendo Switch 2 since they’ll get more 3rd party & continue investment to PC & Steamdeck replacing PS console. The slow migration that killed Xbox will occur to PS

I'm a fan of Playstation Studios GAMES, not a cult member who worships at the altar of a company. If Playstation ever stopped delivering quality games that I'm used to, it's our job as fans to complain or move platforms.
That's why I have no problem complimenting an Xbox studios game that I think looks fun. I'm not limiting my enjoyment or criticisms of a company because of tribalism.

"doomers" said that PC ports would lead to lower console sales. PS just failed their estimates by 4 Million units. The goalpost is now that this number was super ambitious anyway and that it's grand.
"doomers" said that their pipeline was completely dried except for live service games. There's no first-party studio games for this year (so far) except for live service games. The goalpost now is that we just need to wait for 2025.
Doomers have been awfully correct so far. And the bottom line is that 2023 had 1 first-party studio release with Spider-Man 2, 2024 will have fuck all (except for published third parties and live service), and for 2025 we only have Death Strading 2 announced.

PSVR2 support are neglected
Studio like Naughty Dog workin on factions for 3 years and then cancelled (wtf)

Agree 100%, I just wish I had any Xbox game to compliment beside Flight Simulator.
Why wouldn't we be displeased with the current situation? PlayStation fan got used to a lot better stuff than what we are getting right now in the last 10+ years.
Difference, being, Sony still has games, only 3rd party exclusives.
