What a naughty word to say but lets be real here, BF has always had a service aspect dating right back to BF 1942, which had years of expansions and updates.
To those of you calling it "Rundhouse Studios", that was a Jason Schier typo, it was named Roundhouse Studios. And it was also of very debatable quality, in their past life they were known as Human Head studios, releasing some "hidden gems" like Prey and Brink for Take 2 and Bethesda but also...
Not entirely ture, a few of their heavy hitters (BotW, Odyssey, Switch Sports, etc.) went diwn to 30 dollars last Black Friday. I know because I brought them all sealed and they're already worth more than I paid even if long term hopes of becoming a millionaire off of that stuff is nonexistent.
So, you want to know what review bombing can accomplish?
(Just to be clear here, I think Arrowhead did the real heavy lifting here, behind the scenes, but that only happened because of the big stink that was raised by players.)
Uplay and Origin are dirty words in the PC gaming sphere, so much so that I think both have been renamed (and are still hated.) I know that I, for one, played Fenyx Rising on Switch entirely in airplane mode to avoid making a Ubicuck account. And I hated Social Club back in the day too. No idea...

Steam deck is five years older than Switch 2 and doesn't benefit from the same economies of scale. Between the two of them I think Nintendo will be able to hit PS4 at 400 dollars while retaining the system's unique selling points (joy cons, mobile, "HD rumble", battery life, etc.)
This isn't PR at all, this is someone digging into code.
That said, I am on record saying Switch 2 will have PS4 equivalent graphics and am sticking to that.
