People are trying to get ahead of scalpers for the disc drives.
Consoles won't sell out, so there won't be scalpers. Cerny said only 15% of the PS4 consoles sold were Pro.

Right now I can get a series X used on marketplace for $350 Canadian dollars... that's like 250$ usd! and the advert has been there for weeks now.
Nobody wants them, even for really cheap.
Mat is watching it but until now the attache rate to digital PS5 is very low.
That means people that buys the PS5 digital doesn't bother with attachable PS5 disc drive.

This guy makes the dumbest comparisons. Of course the digital console would not have many disc drive sales. People who are buying the digital version is because that’s what they want. If they wanted to use disc that’s what the PS5 disc model is for. Which still has the highest marketshare.
If that is so, they’re the dumbest scalpers ever. Anyone will be able to walk into a store and get a Pro. This ain't the PS6.
Scalping this instead of the pro is actually smarter. Pro is already scalped, but this is cheaper so its easier to price up.
