I’m not sure what that reviewer means by 4/5 stars and 7.8.

Im not sure why he gave it a 7.8. Because he rates loads of PS games and other games 10’s.
Must not like Platformers or this type

So do older hookers... don't ask how I know
Only 4 people here believed the game would get a 95 score and I was one of themWith 95 OC score, as of now Astro Bot is the highest rated SIE / PS exclusive ever in Opencritic.

I don’t know why every time PS releases a hit game, they always ask “Where’s Xbox’s __ game”? Nintendo has been releasing great platformers for decades and they never asked this. https://www.windowscentral.com/gami...-will-xbox-ever-have-a-family-friendly-answer
Instead trying to imitate other successful brands and games. MS needs to go make their own new IP with its own ideas and worlds. Spending $80B on publishers doesn’t do that.

I get your point but the part about not imitating ,specially when talking about Sony , it's hilarious to say the least.
This is why MS always fails with Xbox and their fans end up disappointed from fantasy hopes and dreams.
Having all those IP characters doesn’t mean you can replicate the success of Astrobot. Those characters already exist for years. MS didn’t creat them. They just own them now.
You can’t throw them all together, or creat a single game, and expect to make some huge 95 metacritic global million selling IP. That’s not how it works.
Sony created Astrobot. It’s a brand new character. Same way Nintendo created Mario. Astrobot also celebrates all the first and 3rd party games that appeared on PlayStation since 1994. MS cannot do that with Xbox.

Square Enix makes one stupid decision after another...
