If edge gives it a 10 it'll land at 95
any bets?
Edge, a Playstation 1st party, and 10? I’d say it's not likely but I hope I’m wrong.

I'm gonna be delusional and say they give it a 10 since that publication is full of Nintoddlers
They’ve done it. But it’s rare. Off the top of my head. They gave 10’s to LBP, TLOU and Dreams.Edge, a Playstation 1st party, and 10? I’d say it's not likely but I hope I’m wrong.

Yeah they do have a British bias. It’s why they give perfect 10’s to Rockstar, despite their gunplay and mission design flaws. Because the Houser brothers are British. They also love Media Molecule games, a British studio,If Astro Bot was developed by a British developer then it might have a chance to get a perfect score from Edge.
I mean. UC2 deserved a 10, and Edge gave it a 6/10. LolThey gave LBP and Dreams a 10 cause British.
TLOU got a 10 cause it deserved a 10. They had no other choice.
They don’t only give 10’s to British Studios though. They give 10’s to Nintendo and From, and both are from Japan.2 British and one where they had no other choice.

They are on opencritic and are a top critic so looks like their score is counted on there. Can’t remember the last time Jim gave a game a 10. https://www.thejimquisition.com/post/astro-bot-adorobot-review
Also the first A Hole reviewer. Thank God they’re not on Meta. https://nichegamer.com/reviews/astro-bot-review/

Astro Bot
"The cost of all this momentum and polish is that Astro Bot can be a near-frictionless experience. So eager is it to show you its selection box of surprises, it's zealous with checkpoints and stuffed with enemies that can be brushed aside, even some larger ones keeling over in a scant few strikes. In many cases, if you're unsure what to do, simply activating your current gadget is halfway to a solution, or if not, finding a power cord that you can heave out of the ground or a zip you can pull down – pleasant sensations in themselves – will trigger the next step. Even end-of-galaxy bosses, while spectacular, will likely force one or two retries at most before you've sussed their patterns.
Somehow this never feels like a deal-breaker. It helps that some of the lost bots and puzzle pieces you're hunting are cleverly tucked away, asking you to poke the boundaries of each level, and that the optional mini-planets are devious, removing checkpoints to extract a faultless performance. But more than that, remember, Astro Bot isn't a matter of life and death. While arriving at the destination is all but a foregone conclusion, the pleasure is in getting there, a journey that never stops serving up extraordinary moments and sequences and details. Ultimately, it's almost a footnote that this is an ode to PlayStation and, yes, the primary justification to own a PS5. Take away the branding and there remains a core of irrepressible imagination, the fuel of so many great games, that is anything but robotic." [10]
Yeah, idk. I think it also needed a 10 from IGN or GS to get there. There are currently 10 games at 94 ahead of Astro Bot.
And even if EDGE's rating weighs more heavily on Meta than other sites/magazines, seeing it rise to 95 is still 50/50.
