I laugh when people say GAF is not as bad as Ree about Xbox. They banned all the dissenting voices for years.

Resetera never had me to be fair.
GAF I had the most content with threads that I maintained for years.
But mods choose to ban me… I didn’t even do anything… the decision was took before I even made a post… so my first post after the decision happened to BAN.
But if you find my post there will say that I premeditated most of things that is happening with the game industry right now… and people called me troll, fanboy, pony, etc
I believe early or late the reality slap the faces of these that doesn’t want to see or believe it.
Xbox fans are now understanding what is wrong with Microsoft, Xbox and Uncle Phil (that one that never did anything good for the game industry in over 15 years).

If you didn't noticed, thread is about PS fans who were purged from Resetera because mods are paid Xbox shills ( especially when ABK/MS merge was in the process ). And you were banned from Resetera for very different reason.
It's not quite as bad now, maybe Evilore cleaned house. A lot of the Xbox trash that was allowed to be posted with impunity seems to have cleared up
GAF is nowhere near as bad as Ree. Honestly the acquisition thread there was mostly anti acquisition but it had healthy debate. On Ree it was insta ban for saying anything slightly negative about it
Who are the big, long-standing PS fans still posting there actively besides the quiet ones like you and graywolf?
I agree there was a shift during Activision year 2 but the big purge was before that. 2020-2022 was the worst of the GP/Xbox mania. You had to tow the line. Best deal in gaming.
The newbies are more free to speak up but the damage was done

Gaf definitely isn't anywhere near RE, there is still some anti Sony FUD but people regularly clown Xbox over there. A lot of the jokes on gaf would get you instabanned on re.

I am sure every place has its warriors, and I would imagine Sony, being the superior gaming machine, will be more representative in numbers just because it has a larger fanbase.
With that said, the fanatics of Xbox and the shilling for Game Pass are/were always out of control on Gaf.
People like Adamsapple and Riky, to name a few, and there are a lot of them, go well beyond the call of what normal fans should do.
