Said it before and I'll say it again. We travel the same road, some choose a Honda and some choose a BMW and choosing the BMW doesn't invalidate your Honda but they think it does.

The 3 cylinder engine is so much weaker that stray runs 4k60 no stutters but n it compared to stutters on any amount of money pc.
The difference is not that simple to say this is definitively worse than this. You have to be ignorant to say that. People play on consoles for different reason. I am done with patience for pc bs. Even if it’s just a small stutter… I spent years tolerating all this stuff and turns out all I had to do was spend less money and just enjoy games
UE4 stutter is here to stay. When DF can't recommended someone playing on a 3090 get the cat game over the PS5 version,its over.
If my BMW was stuttering uphill compared to the Honda. I'd want a refund.

I had nes clone as a small child but my whole childhood and teens were pc gaming main. Around 1997 until today.
I did got 360 as my first real console in 2008 for gta4. I never had ps1 or 2.
I adored early pc gaming. But the problem is that it’s just growing in power and sadly in annoyances which I do not have a patience for after all these years. I would really expect many of the issues to be ironed out by now.
And to be honest. Steam deck is doing exactly that. I’ve ordered it few months ago. It seems super cool and goes away with pc bs

I really am surprised at these kinds of threads, my ps5 cost me £359 pounds, Just think about the value + performance I am getting with that machine.
I was playing Astrobot last night, the whole experience, the graphics, the gameplay, the magnificence of that duel sense controller.
Your graphics cards cost double or sometimes triple compared to my entire system, and that is not factoring in the rest of the stuff you need.
As a consumer, i fret at the idea of paying so much money when there is a console that can play games at a more than acceptable level.
Pc's will always be top in terms of performance options etc, console's are fixed into generations, but oh boy you guys really need to pay for your toys.

That "stutter" is from dynamic shader compiling. Oddly enough if they played it on Linux it would go away as it pre compiles the entire shade cache before launch. I don't even game on windows anymore lol
I think it's more that people go out of their way to try and tell people who want a more customized experience why it's bad when they have ZERO clue as to what they're talking about.
You have one choice in controller
I have many keyboard and mouse
I can build my own keyboard and customize everything down to the look and feel
You're stuck with a single graphics pre set
I can customize it to my heart's content, even getting rid of annoying effects
Witcher 3s detective mode was unbearable when I played it in consoles, visually noisy
On PC I basically made it highlight what it needed to highlight at the click of a button
Despite what people think, some people do choose a comfortable chair and desk to play their consoles on.
On PS5 you can't even get 1440P, limiting your monitor selection which is ironic since we now have Inzone monitors that give us more options than a PS5
No one started this thread saying consoles were bad, they started by saying PCs were because they didn't get Sony exclusives which is a stupid ass argument from the jump. I could easily say Xbox and PlayStations are shit because they don't get Zelda. Or that we don't get " GOTY quality games" when metacritic even shows the top 100 games many Sony exclusives didn't even crack that score wise which was a shock to me.
Drive your Honda, it's not a bad car. You hit the road in the most economic fashion there is but it's not going to stop me from driving my 91 octane Jeep Renegade

I have 2 PS5s, and 2 high end gaming PCs.. they can live harmoniously, even connected to the same TV!!
