This is supposed to be the news that would set the internet on fire. even though the exclusivity period already ended for Playstation last year and ff15 was on Xbox.
They really don't like it when Playstation gets something and they don't. They believe everything ought to belong to Microsoft.Xbots are so obsessed with Final Fantasy. Really unhealthy

Square is still busy with the DLC and PC port. The core team of CB III have also moved on to Dawntrail and the balance to Rebirth. I doubt an Xbox port is at the top of their priority list, especially since Square don't seem to be keen on Game Pass deals anymore.
If it comes then great, a port of a game that will be close to 3 years old at that point comes to a platform that's going third-party anyway. Don't see it attracting anyone to Xbox though. Social media points and not much else will follow.

I don't see Sony letting it go that easily, especially to Xbox. The SIE credits in the game are huge. 6 month-timed exclusive was probably for PC, just like VII. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but it just seems so odd.
Who knows what deals SIE management made though, they've been complacent since House left.
All those FF are coming over just like XIV was announced.
FF14 is nothing like the other games. Also FF14 was never part of an exclusivity deal with PS.

All 3rd party 'exclusive' games, including those 3rd parties purchased by Microsoft, regardless of what platform they are on, will be releasing on all consoles.

Sony should drop their dealings with SE, they invest too much on their games, from devs to marketing. If SE wants to be in bed with Xbox even though it’s a gamepass machine, then so be it, but Sony should just leave them to their own devices. I don’t understand why Sony keeps saving SE, for what?

FF16 not coming to Xbox lol, neither is any of the FF7 games. You gotta be smoking crack if you think Sony didn't double down on Final Fantasy console exclusivity after Microsoft bought up every western rpg studio.

FF7 had heavy rumors for 4 years. Even one saying the game was up and running on Xbox and will be announced at E3. This is as back in 2021.
