You spent the whole weekend shitting on it and you think it's a 74%
I've maintained that it will be low 70's through out lol, never said it'll crash and burn like Babylon's fall and go to the 40s.

Oh yeah I've called it "this years Babylon's fall" a few times, but I don't expect it to crash *THAT* bad that 3 months later there's only 1 active player on the PC version lol

It always looked bad from the first gameplay demonstration. I asked when i first saw it, WHO is this game evern for? Who is the target audience? There isnt one. Its literally a BlackRock ESG simulator published by SE. The reason this game exists is to boost SE's ESG score so they can get new loans from banks. Maybe sony new the game would flop so they convinced them to make it an exclsusie to tank the stock to make a takeover easier? No idea.
i am happy this game is finally coming out. (close to Harry potter and PSVR2). just to move away from the conversation and gets forgotten.

The Project Athia trailers were incredible as tech showpieces for new hardware. Square probably sold the game based on that.
The reality tho turned out to be far disappointing.
I did not like the gameplay... found it not responsible and the controls are not good plus the way they tried to make it works is awful.
But I thought it was only me because I hated The Witcher 3 gameplay to the point to give up and most people seems to have loved.
From the demo the only thing that could save this game is the story... it needs to have an wonderful and addictive story.

Suprising to see it's getting scores similar to the exclusives of certain other console.
I often guess the scores pretty decently with an error marging of maybe aound +/-5 points, but this time failed hard. I thought it was going to get around at least 10/15 points more in MC/OC than the ones it's getting.

Difference is you won't see Playstation gamers sugar coat this and call it a great game.

Not surprised by these scores at all. I think the game had potential if it wasn't for the atrocious writing snd Luminious engine, but oh well.
The writing isn't the only problem, doesn't seem like it's that well polished in other areas also going by John's twitter thread.
Yep. In my case I'm not even a JRPG fan so didn't even play the demo. I assume like any game it may have its fans because some very talented people worked in it so I assume it may have good things, but seems that it isn't a great game at all.
Does it have atrocious writing? I thought Amy Hennig worked on that so expected that it was going to have a good writing.
Yes, Amy Henning is involved but I do not believe she wrote the script. I think Gary Whitta is the main individual behind all that. This really upsets me, because Amy doesn't deserve to have her name tarnished like this.
