The last good Square game I've played was Guardians of the Galaxy, that was a pleasant surprise. And I am not even a huge GOTG fan. It was just a well done, and good written title.

I heard that was really good, looking forward to playing that sometime down the line.
Yeah dude, it has hilarious humor. The bickering and constant shit talking between the characters is entertaining. Some people may find the dislogue a bit too frequent, but it didn't bother me that much because it was well voiced and funny.
Amy Hennig has had the worst luck with projects since she left Naughty Dog.

I believe the whole controversies around her and Naughty Dog made fans put her in a level that is higher than what she is actually.
Yeah, I feel bad for her. Also, didn't she get forced out to leave by Neil Druckmann at Naughty Dog? I don't believe she left by her own choice? I remember there was a lot of drama about that. Then EA fucked her over with the canceled Star Wars project and now forced to work on a cringe game with Square.
Nah, I think those stories were just made up hate by folks who got way too upset about tlou2 story.

I think it is a bit of both?
I found the combat in demo rater confusing and lagging (not responsible enough) but maybe with the time you can get used to it and even enjoy.
But even reaching the enjoy point I still knows the combat is that good… it is better than FFXV or The Witch 3’s combats if you compre at low level
ACG is xbot, so of course he do that.
combat is great, with 4 main themes and multiple magic. they didn't played enough or have 2 broken hands.
We only have assumptions and rumors about this, problably only FUD. In later interviews she said that wanted to do other kind of projects.
Maybe in ND she was surrounded by super talented people who made her work shine, and in other teams it isn't the case.
