I can buy the disc later but since it required PS+ by the time I get to that it will probably be on PS+ anyway.Box art is nice.

I double checked it now and it's true, MHW, Capcom Arcade Stadium (F2P) and Capcom Arcade Statium 2 (F2P) are above it.
In theory like in any other big online game they'll keep increasing or decreasing the amount of servers as they need more players. The thing is that games almost always have scalability issues: there's some thing that may be saturated and break when you reach an certain amount of players, then something else breaks when reaching certain other level of players, something else breaks when reaching another... the higher you go, more things get saturated and break.

As an example, in Helldivers 2 at some point the matchmaking failed, then when increased the amount of users the rewards failed, and yesterday when they increased more their database failed. Plus when their servers are full the system stops allowing new players appearing the login issue, where the game doesn't allow you to enter until someone else disconnects.

So they have to scale their servers relatively slowly first to don't waste money hiring a ton of unused servers and second to solve issues before scaling and finding a new one. Because if they scale too fast many issues could appear, and even the whole system could collapse, something that still didn't happen.
This is the conundrum of using second party studios you don’t own yet. If their game is a huge hit, acquiring them is now exponentially more expensive than putting a ring on it before hand. See square soft, see from software, see atlus, see super massive. All got too big or got away from Sony even though almost all of their success is due to them.
Dev > IP in the vast majority of cases.Doubt Arrowhead are now exponentially more expensive since Sony owns the IP.

One day people will learn.
MS bought Gears instead of Epic.Nonsense.
IPs determine the value of studios/publishers not the developers.
That is why the likes Insomniac, From and Respawn were dirt cheap.
No valuable IP no power in buy out negotiations.
MS bought Gears instead of Epic.
MS kept Halo instead of Bungie.
Bandai Namco owns the Dark Souls IP.
Konami own tons of great IPs.
Even if they owned Helldivers 2 it would not make much of a difference, the success of the game is not coming from the IP at all, it's all from the studio. What’s your point?
I am saying Arrowhead are NOT exponentially more expensive to acquire now simply because they don’t own the IP.
IP determines the value of a Studio/Publisher not the developers.
What you think a group of veteran developers can create a new studio and be valued at billions cause of their CVs.
Come on.
Servers are about to get wrecked
Servers are about to get wrecked
Yeah that's the point? To get them hooked so they sign up for PS+ to continue playing??I don't get how this makes sense, why does it matter if it's free for 2 days? Don't you have to buy the game anyway? What is the person suppose to do after 2 days?
No EPIC sold Gears as they didn't have use for the IP anymore.MS bought Gears instead of Epic.
MS kept Halo instead of Bungie.
Bandai Namco owns the Dark Souls IP.
Konami own tons of great IPs.
