The Series Started out stronger than the Xbox One because again they launched everywhere, Covid boosted them, PS5 shortages helped at first. Xbox One started out strong but again they launched in like 13 markets, so comparing them launch aligned is tricky. Series was able to amass a larger install base lead over
Launched everywhere,but XSS was frontloaded
but Xbox One had more consistent sales when the first 3 years are aligned.
Huh? It didn’t. Xseries sales were better than Xbones in first 2 years and more consistent than Xbone sales
And I specifically mentioned Xbox One was more competitive in North America with the PS4 compared to the PS5 vs Series... I don't see what Worldwide sales has to do with anything here.?
You didn't.
It was giving PS4 a good challenge
Which means overall ( worldwide )
especially in North America compared to the PS5 / Series console
Which means NA strictly.
Stop quoting my comments if you're gonna deliberately take things out of context.
Didn’t took anything out of context. Basically quoted 90%of your post.
In 2014... PS4 sold 4.6 million in the US compared to 4.3 million for the XB1
2015 - PS4 sold 5.7 million compared to 4.9 million for XB1
2016 - PS4 sold 5.1 million compared to Xbox 4.7 million.
I mentioned worldwide sales, just like you. PS4 already gained a big worldwide advantage in 2014.
So don't quote my comment telling me what I mentioned was irrelevant when my original comment stated it seems people forgot how well XB1 was selling the first 3 years and it was giving PS4 good competition in North America.
You've mentioned worldwide sales too and sales in NA
Series is coming off the XB1 era with deflated momentum anyone paying attention could tell it was never gonna match the previous console.
Wasn't in firts 2 years. And you didn't know that surely. Easy to say it know, huh
