They were too busy saying that they look forward to him buying ABK and talked about how evil Sony fans are for not wanting there to be "healthy competition".
They did heavenly sword with Sony for the ps3, but a long time ago they did a game called Kung fu chaos for the original Xbox.
That would mean they avoid the subject of their exclusives entirely.My guesses on what the outcome of this will be.
- Announcing the Streaming Stick with a future date (vague as fuck as this is years out but enough to show that MS gaming will be continuing and you can play your digital library on it)
- Announcing Project Xbox One The Third [aka the next gen console] with vague details and no concrete year. Show a handheld version as well. This is to show that Xbox hasn't left console so people still buy the games, and also if sales stay flatlined they will rush a console to market to start the next gen v Sony.
- Discussing the digital only Xbox Series XD (I'm praying that's the codename. Look at the emoji) and solid release date. How will it sell when the disc model doesn't?
- Discuss games coming to Gamepass and Xbox this year. Remind of value proposition.
- Expect a shadow dropped game on Gamepass as tribute to calm the mentals on Twitter.
- Position the purchase of ABK and Bethesda moved Microsoft to largest publisher and Microsoft while supporting their console will also be branching out so that more players can enjoy the quality games available by MS Game Studios. We hope the quality of our games will bring more to Gamepass We we all play we all win (video montage of accessibility in gaming, conflating the two).
Outside of the digital Series X, I expect no branding of Xbox when discussing the future. I expect vague promises of the future to stem the bleeding.
If the next Xbox is just a Windows console all Sony PC games will be playable on those devices.

So what?? Sony is still in the business of selling consoles and they won't stop it because Playstation is the biggest and most well known brand of gaming console on the planet.

Going with how retarded Xbox/MS team thinks (Project Lockheart and Trojan etc) they probably think if they release a year or 2 before PS6, and completely separate themselves from PS6 they have a better chance.
There probably thinking hey guys, remember the 360, we launchd a year before PS3, lets try that again….
But this time they dont have
-Clearly a better 3rd party console
-Newly online infrastructure that was never used before. Multiplayer booming
-Cheaper console than PS5/PS6
-Lots of PS centric titles for the first time like Tekken, DMC, Final Fantasy
-Sony having an expensive machine that is hard to develop for and limited games with online limitations and more issues
360 still had the mid gen boom from Kinect and from all consoles produced in the first 3 years dying due to 3RLoD.
PS3 still outsold it anyway despite all it had going on against it.
I've mentioned it before that as they position the ABK and Bethesda purchases as placing Microsoft beyond just console gaming and its their wish to have their games on all platforms. They will bring some games to other platforms (never mention Nintendo or Sony) so those players can see the quality of MS gaming. If they mention a game they will hit on CoD and Minecraft. I think they will be flowery in the language but confirm some multiplatform
Hellblade wouldn't exist without Sony because Sony saved Ninja Theory from bankruptcy in the PS3 days. Hellblade was announced as a PS4 exclusive and it was ported to Xbox a year later.
And it was a massive flop and killed the company until Sony gave them a deal for Heavenly Sword.
