In this particular case, 50% of a studio is brutal. That's not just cost savings.

This deal was supposed to be good for the people at Activision Blizzard, or at least that's what we were told.
The greed of these mega corps never ceases to amaze me though. They just bragged about how Overwatch 2, Diable, COD, Starfield and Game Pass were all going great and yet here we are.

Imagine being an ABK developer who celebrates getting a new boss after Bobby Kotick gets sent away, just to get fired by that new boss only 2 weeks later.
