Xbox doesn't have the consumers that BUY games. Let alone a JAPANESE game, where people have been conditioned to buy those on PS and Nintendo platforms. People have been clamoring for years that MS needs exclusives, and the reason why they don't have any is about to show. They have such a small bubble of the market, their consumers don't even give a shit about exclusives. They want the newest dude bro shooter, or a sports game to drop. Even publishers don't even want to market with them anymore without a big gamepass check, their platform lacks an audience willing to pay.
PS studios, and Nintendo have cultivated a fan base that genuinely loves what they do. It didn't even start out as some developer roster too brag about. watching the growth of Insomniac, Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog has shown me what PS is capable of with partnership. You cannot just simply buy this type of network, It has to be well watered for a LONG TIME. Xbox is a decade behind and MS will never be happy with the division.
