As someone who endured the epic slog that is the Hogwarts Legacy credits scroll last night I have to say that I agree.
Seriously, that fucking thing ends with a solid five minutes of slow scrolling EULAs for fonts and back end programming and plug-ins, on top of the standard 20+ outsourcing studios they hired, who all got full credit scrolls for their employees.

We'll probably be Sony best selling game this gen, why does the cost of Spider-man 2 matters so much if it's more than profitable?
Because Disney gets a massive chunk of the sale price in royalties AND because successful games like SM2 have to also carry the burden of failed games AND because there is a SM3 coming (and 3 X-Men games) and Insomniac can't let this happen again AND because the narrative of 2 isn't actually any better than 1's so why are there 20 additional people on the writing team that haven't helped anything? You could literally get an indie styled game like Dave the Diver or Ori out of those 20 salaries if you found the right people.
Spider-man 3 will be fine and will make Sony a lot of money, guaranteed. Insomniac is their most productive studio by far.

Its not guaranteed. Don't say its guaranteed if it hasn't happened yet. The PSP was guaranteed to beat the DS right until it didn't. Fortnite was guaranteed to always keep Epic in the black right until it didn't. Pokemon was guaranteed to always release every other year right until it didn't.
It is guaranteed. It's Spider-man made by Insomniac it going to sell over 20m+ copies. Only way it flop is if PlayStation is dead.
