To be fair, the Verge TBD review on metacritic makes it sound like they'll give it at least an 8.5. I agree that giving certain websites more weight is dumb though.

Yeah the game is a technical and artistic creative masterpiece. They deserve all the praise.Even if it did... it would still be fantastic and the only disappointment I would have is for the developers, who I think deserve to have a 90+ game after how hard they work.
