For this guy, the 'healthier practice' is to allow MSFT use money garnered over 30+ years in 2 large monopolies to buy out publisher after publisher and offer their games for nearly free on a subscription to bleed out the competition to the point that everyone becomes dependent on their subscription and retail / physical media has been killed due to them buying all the biggest retail games..... then they can ramp up the price to the skyyyyyyyy. Healthy, huh?

Great point. I do think this is a possibility sony do need to consider and attempt to lock down key partners though.

We now have individuals in the community that spends more time in twitter, twitter spaces, playing acquisitions wars or on podcasts than actually gaming because there is no qualifications to be considered but everyone wants to be a clout chaser or influencer than to have discussion about the actual games or support the hobby that we want to participate in.
