More Jez shenanigans

Microsoft really has no respect for the regulatory process....

Not only that, it's clear from the way they present their financials and the lack of transparency, that they don't even respect their shareholders or stakeholders either and think the vast amounts of money are enough reason for everyone to go along with whatever they want to do, no questions asked.

Disgusting company.

Where it’s at.

The most revolting thing about their obfuscated financial reporting is that it was challenged in court by a shareholder, and MS’ accountants testified that they had tailored their reporting to the very letter of the law, with guidance from legal, to reveal only as much as they determined a shareholder or regulator could require them to disclose.

Its shocking how many "experts, analyst's" and influencers" there are to constantly give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt despite almost every time the exact opposite happens. The king has no clothes, EVERYONE can see it and openly talks about it, except for this weird click of wannabe predictors of the future. Its bizarre.

Real analysts (not the ones that hang out in podcasts with Xbox fanboys) seem to think the appeal is unlikely to change things. There was some other news network that had a guest analyst on basically saying the same thing, but I haven't found it yet. Ultimately, Microsoft would have to offer more concessions than they are likely willing to give. Activision investors may also decide to just take the 3 billion and call it quits.

Dunno if this was posted today, but if so bye bye 3 billion

I'm no lawyer and I called that, I just can't see how Activision would continue to be involved in this unless MS massively increases their pay in a renegotiation. ABK has all the power now.

ABK is not at a bad financial situation everything considered and their IPs look stronger now than when they came up with this deal.

In terms of setting the tone for the future, which time frame would you say had more impact? The lead up to the launch of xbox one and all the drama surrounding it or the year and half of this abk deal, which to be fair we've yet to see full scope and fallout of it yet?

The Xbox one Launch ended MS chances of being on top ever again in the console market. They are still in recovery mode from this.
All of this proves that Xbox 360 was just a fluke that capitalized on the PS3 delay, they rushed the fuck outta the first models leading to RROD
