Why would Sony stop with the 3rd party exclusives? It's now cheaper than ever since nothing sells on Xbox. If anything it looks like they were hiding their announcement until regulators made their calls.
I'm not saying that they would, I'm just predicting the reactions based on what they've done before. Regulators probably could have already asked them what they had in store. They might have delayed so that MS couldn't use the announcements in the showcase to play the victim in the media before the decisions were made though.
