They seem to think you need a separate subscription for online play on PS5 and Xbox, when it's included in every tier of PS+ but not Game Pass?

Oh? It seems like the tone changed completely since they have started talking about Cloud. This could potentially maybe sway the judge.

Noticed that too. Cloud was always going to be the stronger of the two arguments. The console arguments should've tied in cloud more in terms of MS's advantages in leveraging cloud SLC of gaming assets through Azure and their various services as well as middleware ownerships.

She seems to think all companies can wipe their asses with 200+ million just because Microsoft can.

That's one of the frustrating parts. MS can enabled long-term loss-leading strategies in gaming because gaming constitutes at best 10% of their annual revenue and less than 10% of their annual net profits. It means nothing to them as a wider corporation.

That simply isn't the case for smaller competitors like Sony or Nintendo.

This is what is fucked up about allowing a company this size to exist. They can pretty much take over any market that is "small" to them and that is pretty much every market where they are not fighting Google, Amazon or Apple directly.
