This new deal will go through the same process and can either be accepted or rejected by the CMA.

Microsoft will then have the option to appeal the new decision if rejected again.

Microsoft are basically reapplying for approval from CMA.

Maybe it’s different in the USA but in the UK you can’t pause an appeal.

If you want to make a new application you have to withdraw an appeal.

You can’t have both going on at the same time.
