Xbots nervous about Starfield and already ready with excuses

If you report XboxEra because of this accusations towards other outlets on Metacritic or OpenCritic, can they be banned from there?

When Sony does something considered anti-consumer: 😡😡😡😡😡

When Microsoft does basically the same thing: 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
What does Sony even do that’s actually “anti consumer?” Everything I see listed just …is not. They give consumers high quality products at prices people are incredibly willing to pay. They are extremely pro consumer in my book.

I actually agree with you. This was just my impression of a lot of Xbox fans on how they have a skewed mindset.

It’s okay when MS gobbles up entire publisher and lock up future games from other platforms. But if Sony does fund some 3rd party exclusive (like FF7R) then hell does break out. Funny it’s always Xbox and Nintendo fanboys who are complaining. They never say something if Nintendo locks up some cool games or MS buying entire IPs. I tell you the PlayStation showcase will cause mass meltdowns. Nintendo, PC and Xbox fanboys will join forces and cry a whole sea together.

Since this seems to not be discussed nearly enough - the deal needs to close by the 18th of July. Before this date, both companies need to agree to new extension periods and communicate them to the FTC. I believe that failing to secure the necessary regulatory approval falls on Microsoft, and they will need to pay ABK a penalty if ABK shareholders refuse this extension period.

To be fair, I sincerely doubt they will not extend it because stocks are being sold at a massive premium, therefore they will probably risk a couple billion loss if that means a 10x higher or more gain. It's much more likely that MS shareholders drop the deal.

Interesting, I had always figured that there was a risk of ABK shareholders demanding a new selling price that MS was unwilling to pay or deciding that the deal was no longer worth the trouble.

I’m pretty sure the deal will be way more expensive than $100 bi past July.

Nah, I doubt it, the premium is too high. If they ask for a higher price they risk antagonizing Microsoft's shareholders, whom are probably not too happy already.

What if the reason that content bashing the Xbox gets so much traction is because it's usually true and it resonate with people? No, it couldn't be that, it has to be Jim Ryan controlling the media narrative by doing one interview every 2 years.

When Sony does anything: "OMG so anti-consumer"
When MS does something far worse: "Thanks Phil, this is why we love you. People are too dumb to understand how this is actually great for us."
