To be fair, for most of its history, 9/10 a non traditional Crash game end up not hitting critical success.
It could also just be for the western devs they had that they sold to Embracer. SE must have been really offended by MS offer if they got outbid by embracer

This has been my belief all along. There is historical precedent with MS for this and there is also just the flow of events of the last while - Zenimax acquisition, the lying about exclusivity (case by case), and the removal of games from Sony and Nintendo platforms. The focus on acquisitions over releasing good games, the astroturfing and shilling for Game Pass, MS as underdog narrative, and evil Sony campaign. It's all there - embrace, extend, extinguish. MS never changed and they never will. I find it amazing that they actually convinced people they were pro-consumer, though. A lot of naive gamers out there.
Seeing the truth coming out has been great. I know it won't make any difference to hard-core XBox fans, but I suspect many other people are starting to notice just how much bullshit MS, their paid media shills, and astroturfers have propagated.
I see what the ftc is trying to do with the gen 9 definition but i think this runs the risk of blowing up in sonys face if they are only ever compared to xbox marketshare. In this instance i want the FTC to lose this argument. Now im wishing Phil was competent.
