Maybe they did call Sting to celebrate it with a private concert.

Where it’s at.
WHERE IS SONY???? They are not going to make any public statement? That's the most Sony thing ever 🤦‍♂️🤦🤦‍♀️

It works fine on PS+ when you don't want to download the whole game. I played an indie with a boat (don't remeber the title) for several hours no issues.
Why would Sony make any statement about this? The CMA said they weren’t making the decision based on console business, and Sony is not a party to the merger.

Making a statement would be an incredibly stupid thing for Sony to do.

"Well, I was surprised to learn that Lina Khan and the head of the CMA had a meeting a week and a half ago in Washington. You know, legally, you're not supposed to be discussing active litigation. I don't know that they did. But, you know, I think that that's what you're seeing now is that the CMA is being used as a tool by the FTC to be able to create these kinds of outcomes, and it this isn't the way that they're supposed to be operating."

I wouldn't trust anything that clown Bobby Kotick has to say. PostUp is grasping at straws.

Bob going full conspirancy :D

Plus.

It's funny to see Kotick is going to earn a shit ton of money thanks to the compensation that MS are going to pay them for not being able to complete the transaction in July.

I remember Phil Spencer mentioning that they were going to reconsider their relationship with Activision a few days after the Activision harassment shitstorm exploded, and a handful days before he called Kotick to offer him acquire Activision Blizzard.

Phil is apparently kinda distancing xbox from this merger:
Phil Spencer told Xbox workers at an all-hands this morning that while the Activision deal is an accelerant to the company's gaming strategy, it's not the entirety of it

"The Xbox chief said the acquisition was intended to speed up Microsoft’s gaming plans, but doesn’t represent the entirety of the company’s gaming strategy, which would move ahead even without Activision, the person said."

What does that Xbox gaming strategy even look like at this point? Bethesda games that are locked to the least popular console aren't going to reverse their fortunes.

Yo MS, if you're so confident in the deal passing in Europe despite the CMA blocking the deal-- why cry?
Because all the regulators must approve the acquisition, if one of them says no there's no acquisition. MS will appeal the CMA decision. If MS doesn't win that appealing, the acquisition will be cancelled.

And on top of that, they have a milestone to complete the acquisition before July 18th. If they don't have the acquisition completed by this day, the acquisition would also be cancelled and MS would have to pay them I think it was $3B more as compensation to the ABK shareholders (mainly Kotick). But they can decide to extend the milestone, so that last part pretty likely wouldn't be the end.

here is one i am sure you will enjoy, did i say one.

There's a certain English man in USA that is going to be very happy once MS loses their appeal vs the CMA and the acquisition gets finally buried:
