As a reference, NC Soft is a Korean publisher who has a yearly revenue of almost $2B and around $640M of operative income. Primarly known by Lineage, Tabula Rasa, Aion, Blade & Soul or Guild Wars. They also published games from other genres such as Fuser (developed by Harmonyx), the MOBA Master x Master or the baseball series Pro Baseball H2! (also H3!) or the golf series Pangy.
They have announced for 2024 the brawler Battle Crush and as TBA the MMOs Throne and Liberty, Project LLL and Aion 2, in addition to the narrative thriller Project M, Strategy RPGs Project G and Blade and Soul S and the action MMORPG Blade & Soul Console plus the sports RPG Pangya M. Outside gaming they also have a Korean baseball team, NC Dinos.
They were also rumored to be codeveloping the Horizon Online game.
In mobile they are the top 15 publisher in the world. Removing apps and casinos they may be top 10 publisher in the world, the top 2 Korean one after Netmarble.

Seems they were also in talks with Pearly Abyss (Black Desert Online, Crimson Desert, DokeV) and Com2uS (top mobile games as Summoners Wars, Strikers 1945: RE, plus licensed MLB or NBA games) and Neowiz (Lies of P).
Top grossing publishers for mobile apps+games in iOS+Google Play (so doesn't include stores from Tencent, Netmarble, etc). Removing companies who only have apps or casino stuff they would be several positions higher.

Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West may be venturing into the MMO market as Sony and NCSoft have reportedly partnered for an upcoming Horizon game.
I don’t believe this effort in Korea is thanks to Jim Ryan. He is and was an enemy of Japanese/Asian gaming culture. The credit belongs to Kiichiro Urata and or Shuhei Yoshida. Jimbo doesn’t probably know that Korea has developers. Lmao they are trying to make old Jimbo look good before retirement.
