But man the combat system really is not something to praise.
I didn't think it was bad it got the job done, but it was so basic.
You can bet this level of delusion wouldn't happen if it wasn't an MS owned IP.
90 percent sure they're only saying this because MS owns the studio now.

Wow... first of all you definitely need the combos and cool downs, ranged and shield attacks... everything has a purpose. Also just because some combos are not essential to success doesnt mean that adding flair to your combat is a redundant thing or a negative....options are great. The entire DMC franchise is based on flair and style in attack. You could beat the game with basic attacks but hat just isnt as much fun.And that my friends are Xbots in a nutshell

somehow the Xbox evangelists have actually gotten worse on GAF since the ABK deal closed & Starfield released, especially the ones who are trying to gaslight everyone claiming that Starfield was never hyped 
yet when I report the trolls I recently got a message saying “Enough with reporting anything that you deem "threatening" to Playstation.” 
maybe if the forum didn’t have so many blatant astroturfers… and the problem is that it’s only Xbox trolls really left there to report too
is the M$FT tag some of them have achieved just the way for the moderators to mark the authorized astroturfers?

There has also been a steady trickle of shitty posters who left when the Reeeeebellion happened that have come slinking back to GAF over the last few months, helping make GAF back into the sewer that they had made it into circa 2014.
yep I’d agree, and a lot of the alts are obvious, it’s no coincidence that so many of the obvious astroturfers have post counts usually in the hundreds & at most in the low low thousands while accounts like Dark Mage have gone silent except for reacting to the alts
even if so that would fall on the moderation & site management for allowing it to happen, but I don’t think a lot of these accounts are from the schism, it’s pretty obvious that the astroturfers at least keep making accounts & letting them ‘mature’ so that when they’re ‘activated’ as it were they aren’t junior accounts which get moderated more harshly
there’s like half a dozen banned right now for the persecution complex they all demonstrate (Microsoft can do no wrong and everyone is out to get them, “Xbox tax”) yet there’s still at least another dozen active & posting
meanwhile on the PlayStation side the only equivalent ‘extremist’ maybe left on GAF is @Ass of Can Whooping ? but he’s not like the Xbox types because he doesn’t try to gaslight you
