The point is everything Microsoft has "created" wasn't created by Microsoft except for Forza.

They bought Halo
true
They bought Minecraft
true
They bought Flight Sim
True
They bought Gears

They tried to buy Donkey Kong

yes they even tried buying Nintendo as well didn’t work
They bought Mechwarrior

I don’t know much about that series.
They bought Fable

well im sure that was a great game….
and now they're buying CoD/blizzard

maybe the Franchise will finally rest in peace now.
They have zero creative ability, they just buy whatever they think is popular. That's why they keep failing.

tbh lot of studios do this including Sony which hasn’t been that creative lately.

So what? Notch wasn't working for MS when he created it.

Nobody credits Sony for Destiny, they just bought the company that makes it. Nor should they.

🤷‍♂️

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Microsoft doesn’t care about Xbox they want their software on everything. That’s been the goal since the beginning. Buying cod Minecraft etc and putting it all on their opponents systems gives them a bit of the Share. Look at switch right now it’s likely got a few microsoft Games on it. I’m not looking at who created What I’m looking at who owns what and someone owns something and there’s a sizeable trail of cash going back to some Microsoft studio.

What games do you seriously play from Bethesda and Activision? Or from the smaller studios they bought?

I was a huge Bethesda fan. I played Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Fallout 3/4, Skyrim well over 400 hours each. And even I’m not missing Bethesda games on PlayStation. Zenimax knew what they were doing when they sold to MS so apparently they don’t care about their fanbase or money. So fuck them.

Doesn’t seem I’m missing anything going by Starfield.

It’s like some you just look at the studios MS bought and don’t want to realize if you even played or care about those studios games. It’s a checklist tally for you. That’s it.
Lol how do you know what I play and like? Ive realised plenty what studios they have taken.

Well I would of probably bought the next Elders Scrolls and Fallout. Doom, Crash Bandicoot, COD, Tony Hawks etc So theres that to start with. What happens if MS works with Miyazaki for a Sekiro 2, even though Fromsoft owns the IP. You gonna poo poo that away too lol.

What happens when MS buys EA, Ubisoft, or Sega. Its about securing future IP. Sony should do the same. Maybe you dont care about Fifa, Assassins Creed or the multiple Sega IPs I enjoy, but I do.

I dont know what your trying to convince me of, I know what I like, Im not happy about MS buying those studios, IPs and Publishers. Good for you if you dont care

What mistake? They’ve been consistently outputting games every year since the PS5 launched.

You want more games? Well you have to wait then.
I just listed the mistakes… they’ve lost 3rd party exclusives with Sega, Miyazaki, Supermassive and more.

Maybe you are happy with 2.5 PS5 exclusives from the in house studios in 2 years ( Spiderman 2 and TLOU Remake,Horizon DLC ) Im not

Look you can be happy with the output, just like Xbots are happy with Xbox’s output. Im not happy, end of story, stop trying to convince me its all good Lol

Do you really like those games or are just listing them? I see people making list all the time for games that’s not even announced. Tony Hawk? When is that being released? Like come on.

You’re imaging the worse case scenario for Sony. All that won’t play out exactly like you say. I just feel there’s a little exaggeration going on in these arguments.

You guys keeps making list of imaginary games for Xbox while Sony is releasing games and selling consoles.

I just listed the mistakes… they’ve lost 3rd party exclusives with Sega, Miyazaki, Supermassive and more.

Sony never had any exclusives with Sega. They chose to make their games on PlayStation since that was the most viable platform. Like all Japanese develops do.

MS being desperate and Phil Spencer taking trips to Japan begging for ports is not the fault of Sony. As if it matters. Japanese games have have zero presence on Xbox. They’re basically still exclusive. It’s a talking for MS and their fanbase to have.

What games did Sony lose with Miyazaki? Sony still has Bloodborne.

Sony broke ties with Suppermassive because of what was going on with the company. They didn’t lose anything.

Now you’re just straight up lying.

There’s been way more than 2 PS5 first party game since 2020. If you don’t know what games then maybe the problem is really you.

I’m not trying to convince you of anything. I’m just speaking factual information.

The Sony tirade lately is getting out of control. It’s unnecessary.

Well I bought almost every Cod apart from Advanced warfare and WW2 until 2020. I bought Crash, both Dooms etc. Tony Hawks remakes etc
But Im never gonna buy them then again because I dont buy MS products.

You’re imaging the worse case scenario for Sony. All that won’t play out exactly like you say. I just feel there’s a little exaggeration going on in these arguments.
Considering MS just bought Activision. Plus Yakuza and Persona, both titles that were exclusive to PS since PS1/PS2 not being exclusive anymore, its a genuine concern. I dont think its that much of an exaggeration. Give it 5-10 more years and more publishers will be bought.

You guys keeps making list of imaginary games for Xbox while Sony is releasing games and selling consoles.
Theres no imaginary list.
No1 is disputing Sony is selling consoles and Xbox doesnt… No1 is saying they will make Xbox succeed. vBut if your happy with the output from Playstation’s inhouse studio more power to you, Im not happy with just Spiderman 2 and Horizon DLC this year. Outside of those games and the VR2 games, theres not much going on. I expect more from them, fingers crossed they will announce things for 2024. HellDivers 2 isnt my thing

Well I dont see an exclusive from him this gen unlike the last 2 generations. His colabs with Japan studios was amazing.

Sony broke ties with Suppermassive because of what was going on with the company. They didn’t lose anything.
Suppermassive made some PS exclusives including Until Dawn. Thats no longer the case, thats a miss for me.

Now you’re just straight up lying.

No1 is lying….Since July 2021 till now, which is over 2 years, they have only released TLOU Remake and Spiderman 2 exclusively to PS5. Horizon DLC too. I didnt say 2020, I said 2 years.

I’m not trying to convince you of anything. I’m just speaking factual information.

Factual talk is theres only been 2.5 PS5 exclusives since July 2021 Not including VR games, and one was a remake. Im allowed to think and say what I want from. Theres no agenda, I just dont like what Im seeing and lack of

On the PC front, he was referring to a report by Serkan Toto

"Kantan Games analyst Dr Serkan Toto shared the results of a report by Japanese think tank Kadokawa Ascii Research Laboratories, which wrote a report for Famitsu showing that PC gaming in Japan was worth ¥131.3 billion in 2021.

Toto translates this to $868 million, although notes the value of the yen has fallen significantly since last year.

That means PC accounted for almost 7% of the overall Japanese games market, which was worth ¥2 trillion ($13.7 billion) in 2021. The market is dominated by mobile, with a healthy console base as well.

Toto reports the size of the PC gaming market in 2021 is roughly double that of 2018, and that the same is true when it comes to the number of players.

There were 16 million PC gamers last year, meaning nearly 30% of the 55.4 million people who play games in Japan use a computer. That's up 45% from the 11 million reported in 2015.

4.5 million people play games solely on PC, which is more than double the 2.2 million PC-exclusive Japanese gamers reported in 2015."

Not quite as impressive as Phil makes it sound.

I don’t rule out a future where it’s just a battle of digital catalogs and supported by all hardware mostly, from mobile to home.

If the intentions are to say you’re bringing games to all platforms when possible… sure. It’s not so outrageous.

Thing is… Phil is a hack and full of shit

It’s not going to be easy for MS to buy publishers and studios now. Activision took almost 2 years. They won’t try to buy anything for a long while.

It is an imaginary list because people keep bringing up games that are years away and games that haven’t been announced just to make Xbox look good and PlayStation’s future dire.

Which is ridiculous.

MS got what the wanted And it will happen again, because government and MS are in bed. A lousey company to have this much power and basically rule the PC world isnt a coincidence, they dont deserve it if you get what I mean.

Playstation‘s future isn’t dire and Xbox’s future isnt gonna change because MS just naturally is not good at managing or coming up with stuff. Its just no1 knows what PS are releasing like they use to. And They’re losing IPs for the first time in there history. Yeah they lost exclusive games like Tekken, DMC and FF in the 360 era but they still had them on there platform. This time not so much

Sony can’t control studios doing business with other companies. Unless they do a exclusivity deal or buy them. Which the studio can still say no to.

PS5 is still getting 3rd party exclusives.

Sony owns 14% of FromSoftware. I’m sure they’re working on games for PS5.

Suppermassive made some PS exclusives including Until Dawn. Thats no longer the case, thats a miss for me.

I got Quantic Dream mixed up with Suppermassive.

Those games were good. I noticed nobody really cared about their games anymore when they went multiplaform.

It shows that exclusives do matter and they put a different conversation and energy around the games.

Suppermassive is one of the studios Sony should buy.

You can’t be serious. WTF. That’s a very specific timeframe. Almost as if you chose that on purpose. Using that starting date you leave out

Miles Morales
Demons Souls
Returnal
Ratchet and Clank

Then you also leave out an entire platform of games by not including PSVR2. Just because you don’t care for them doesn’t mean those games don’t add to the PS5’s library.

I can’t help but come to the conclusion you people are either trolling or just love to look for any little thing to find fault with Sony. No matter how dumb it is.

Sony has money and the biggest gaming Platform. They can strike a deal if they think its worth it, but they might get it wrong by not getting deals with the right company

PS5 is still getting 3rd party exclusives.
Of course, I just want more, especially something FromSoft related. Sony should be all over a KingsField VR and another game for PS5.
Sony owns 14% of FromSoftware. I’m sure they’re working on games for PS5.
I hope so. There was a rumoured 3 game deal

I got Quantic Dream mixed up with Suppermassive.

Heavy Rain and Detroit were Good games too. Detroit especially. The Quarry got great scores but Sony should of bought them for sure

Its a 2+ year timeframe. Its what Im complaining about. Miles Morales was also on PS4.
Its been limited either way.
Yeah because PSV2 isnt PS5. Most PS5 owners dont have a PSVR2. Focus on PS5, almost all there PS5 exclusives are on PC.

Im just hoping they have a big AAA or 2 for 2024 from the PS studios in 2024
