It didn't benefit Zenimax to exclude millions of players on PS and Nintendo, but Phil did it anyway. I've said this before, but he's one of the biggest console warriors I've ever seen. Even now, while having to port games to PS due to his bad decisions, he's still taking shots at Sony - for doing what they've always done and made them far more successful than Xbox.

Can't believe people are actually considering releasing multiplat to be a positive when literally the most profitable platform holder in gaming just came out and said exclusivity is a very important factor in console success. In an interview for journalist Stephen Totilo’s Game File newsletter, Spencer said the decision to bring four Xbox games to other consoles wasn’t intended to make its rivals follow suit.



Despite this, Spencer said he would of course welcome other consoles’ games on Xbox, and noted that it would be beneficial for multiplayer games in particular, where building a large online community is important for a game’s lifespan.
