Going to add Death End Re;quest 1 and 2 to my list. Horror JRPG. Very intriguing
Joined Premium because it was just $15 more over Extra, but 0% need for it.
So far played Little Nightmares:
And now Shadow Warior
NOTE: This game will departure PS+ Extra/Premium in 5-Jul-2022. Hurry up!
If you enjoyed Little Nightmares, make sure to play Little Nightmares 2 which was better imho. It's a prequel to the original story.
This next month is pretty good though?I'm not really a fan of the service personally, I begrudgingly pay for access to online gaming, and the rest of the offerings for me are totally bunk. At best I get 1 or 2 free games a year I feel like adding to my library and even those I rarely play.
Plus's offerings have felt really lackluster to me for the past year and I was ready to cancel it but I use online occasionally. With the introduction of the tiered Plus system I knew essential was going to get boned even harder, I don't expect to see anything worthwhile on there again when they want to incentivize the higher tier purchases.

- Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (PS5, PS4)
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (PS4)
- Arcadegeddon (PS5, PS4)
they can only give away so many games.
I'm just going to assume you're just trollingYMMV, I don't want any of those games. I feel like they used to give out a lot of great games back when they were still doing PS3 and Vita but I haven't been interested in most things released on plus in the past couple years. It's turned into a dumping ground for indie multiplayer trash.

Those older years sound stellar tbh, a lot of good games released for free each year on PS3

i have been subbed to them for a long time now, mainly just for the multiplayer experience with friends, if i am completely honest, there have been a couple of really shitty months this year, but every now and again there are some wonderful gems that they give you. Some people just have very particular tastes... that's why many people miss old Sony that had kinda niche titles.
Different strokes for different folks and all that...
Not only that, but here's another thing:Some people just have very particular tastes... that's why many people miss old Sony that had kinda niche titles.

I wonder sometimes too if, counterintuitively, a game being on the service makes it less likely people will seriously invest in it. There's actually a good number of titles on Plus over the years that I was semi interested in when they were just retail releases, and then when they came to Plus I was just like eh whatever. Something about the games being free can sometimes make you less apt to play them.
Like if they had actually sold VF5 at retail, I would have been on that hype train and preordered. Probably would have invested more time in the game because I put money down. It came out on Plus, I played it maybe for half a day and deleted it.
Well then I guess the service just isn't for youI don't really agree. Last year I didn't play like anything online, and I only grabbed like 2 of the free plus games, so the service didn't feel worth it to me at all for 80 something Canadian and I was considering cancelling it this year. Picked up fighters again so I needed the online but if I wasn't playing these, there would really be no reason for me to keep the service. I could grab a few titles I actually want with that 80 dollars instead of throwing it in the garbage.
My cheap ass buddy likes it because they often give freebies that his kids will enjoy toying around with, but I think YMMV drastically with this service.
I was a bigger fan when they were still doing offerings across 3 consoles, felt like there was more that I was interested in being given out. So many plus games have been AA multiplayer games lately and then if you don't like the one higher profile game you're waiting another month.
