Not in a million years.
13% is what the PS4 Pro got when it released for the same 400€ in 2016 as the regular PS4 did in 2013.
The PS5 Pro costs 800€ which is twice as much as the PS5 Digital did at release in most markets, and the worldwide economy is generally worse in 2024 than it was in 2016 due to covid inflation.
I guess adoption in the US should be larger than anywhere else's due to the PS5Pro+disc being so much cheaper there, but if you're looking at worldwide numbers then it's not reaching the same audience for sure.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it's like 8% in the US, 2% in Europe+UK and then less than 1% in Japan.
Anecdotally, eveyone in my close friends' group (7 total) got a PS4, two of us upgraded to the Pro. Now, 6 of us have the PS5 and no one is even considering getting the PS5 Pro.
It's ok, it's just a choice. I personally would buy it and find it being cheap even when sold here at ~$800 USD. Not buying a drive because I never bought a disc since 2014.
