big games of 2023 sold most on PC/Steam. baldur gate obviously one of the biggest. diablo4 is known to be 66% on PC. in september, it was announced that armored core sold 1.3M on Steam. in oct, it was reported that armored core sold 2.8M total. so steam accounts for around half of total sales. that's From software, a japanese studio with long roots as a console developer.Yes it can be both when we know millions are pirating these games and chose to forego buying a console
Oh you're right, for some reason I thought he had said that the 30m was at the beginning of December. They could still be on track thenPretty this CES (2023) jIM Ryan came out and said they were at 30 million and sold 6 million the holiday of 22.

Another new goalpost is "record revenue"It's the next goalpost.
Also, I can have loads of profits if my expenditure is partially hidden in other organizations within the same company. It's one of the advantages of being a division and not a subsidiary.
Are you sure about that? Here is Dark Souls 2 producer apologizing for the poor PC version of DS1, promising DS2 would be better (it was). I've played all their games on PC and they all have similar quirks to them not suggesting an outsourced production.FROM doesn't make the PC versions of the games themselves. FROM producers oversee the contractors, hence the quality of the PC ports being what PC gamers deserve. Are you sure about that? Dark Souls producer admits PC port was rushed, promises sequel will "be a good PC experience"
Long before the release of Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition, we knew that the PC port would be troubled. The developers admitted that they wouldn't be upgrading the resolution, or fixing the frame rates, or preparing the necessary wards to keep Games for Windows Live from haunting the game...www.pcgamer.com
Being at 50m sold through, while impressive, still means they're quite a bit behind their targets? Maybe they won't hit 25m through the FY after all; they should be at over 55 imo
Why do you lie so much? Yesterday you said BG3 had 22m sales on Steam, and today you say games sell best on PC.big games of 2023 sold most on PC/Steam. baldur gate obviously one of the biggest. diablo4 is known to be 66% on PC. in september, it was announced that armored core sold 1.3M on Steam. in oct, it was reported that armored core sold 2.8M total. so steam accounts for around half of total sales. that's From software, a japanese studio with long roots as a console developer.
CDPR has a very different relationship with PC players than most other devs, plenty of people that use DRM as justification to pirate other games don't pirate their games because of GoG.Why do you lie so much? Yesterday you said BG3 had 22m sales on Steam, and today you say games sell best on PC.
BG3 and CP2077 are the ONLY games to have ever sold better on Steam than on PlayStation.
BG3 is a pc centric title that was on Steam early access for 3 years
CP2077 was so broken Sony removed it from their storefront and retailers were giving refunds for physical copies.
I looked it up and this is the “source” that said Armored Core sold 1.2m on PC. A random website that is purely estimates. This is no different to Xbox fanboys lying that Starfield sold 5m because of that PlayerTracker website estimate.
Stop lying so much it’s bad for the soul.

Even with that close knit relationship to PC gamers, Witcher 3 still sold better on PS4 than PC for many years until the game dropped to $10 on PC. Then PC FINALLY caught up to PS4s sales.CDPR has a very different relationship with PC players than most other devs, plenty of people that use DRM as justification to pirate other games don't pirate their games because of GoG.
Many PC players like our flaccid fella over there hate Sony because of the long history of PlayStation exclusives and a fair share of them will merciless pirate their game after putting pressure for them to be ported.
Notice that you'll rarely see PC players angry with Nintendo or port begging, simply because they can already emulate their games.
PC gamers are seemingly incapable of comprehending that selling 5 million copies at $60 is better than selling 10 million for $3 on a Steam sale.Even with that close knit relationship to PC gamers, Witcher 3 still sold better on PS4 than PC for many years until the game dropped to $10 on PC. You added to my point with CP2077, which I didn't mention@flaccidsnake ALWAYS go silent once his lies gets disproven. You can't just keep lying and think you're going to get away with it, that's pathetic Xbox fanboy behavior
