IGN gave it an 8 but they spent half of this week's Gamescoop talking about how much they disliked it and mocking the fact that it got an 8.
I expected it, but it's astonishing how badly sales and engagement for this game have been. The game even got several 100/100 scores from some large publications (Eurogamer, Guardian) in addition to the usual Xbox shill sites, and it hasn't helped sales at all. Not even Steam-lords and crypto-Xbox PC guys don't give a shit about it.
Jeez, Reforge Gaming needs to play more games if he says HB1 is his all time favorite, but I know, I know… opinions and what not.
Also, Stevivor (the Aussie strippers for Xbox) gave it a 9.5/10.

How can the first Hellblade be his favorite game ever? It would not even be in my top 500. He must be the only person in the world who thinks that.

The biggest irony of this game getting the praise it is for the visual fidelity, is that it speaks as much or more of UE5 than it does Ninja Theory.
