Finally... Anybody that thinks the earth is a flying space pizza should be planted in a plot, as they are right around the same level of intelligence and sentience as a carrot. Probably less, even.

And I have a lot of familiarity with reality, hence being able to tell with 2000 year old math that the earth is a sphere (again, for all intents and purposes).

It depends, sometimes it feels dirty. There are a lot of "gray zone" stuff, but I'm sure at least half of the flat earth videos are people making it up to have a good time.

A breast is convex not concave. Funnily enough that is what the first ballooners thought the earth looked like from high altitudes, a concave bowl. They quite reasonably assumed that as you rose higher, the horizon should appear to drop lower and lower, forcing one inside the balloon to have to look at an angle below their eye level to see the dropping horizon. They were surprised to find it does not do that, but instead appears to rise with the observer in altitude, and they described the view as like rising in the center of an enormous bowl.

I wish the full cut of it would be released on 4k. There’s a lot of gaps that the 4-hour rough cut probably fills in and makes things more satisfying than the 2.5 we got.

Almost all of Scorcese’s films have had a rough cut of around 4 to 6 hours. He then fine tunes things to get to what the studios will let him out in theatres.

Francis Ford Coppola is another one who shoots a ton and whittles away. There’s a legendary bootlegged 8-hour cut of Apocalypse Now that has a 45-minute version of Brandi’s monologue!
