Great, with R&C, MLB and Killzone you just listed 6 first-party titles born on PS1/PS2.

So is it enough to count MLB 98-2005, plus the other PlayStation developed sport titles to reach the 20 requested by you.

In case you want some more diversity, you could always go back to the L you took previously:

I don't need to make a list I just think it's embarrassing you listed stuff like TLOU twice, MLB series, Until Dawn (which wasn't even first party 😼)

Killzone Shadow Fall which pretty much killed the franchise into your list lol

TLOU Remastered sold more than the original game if i recall and the remake is also selling well. Sorry if you don't think that counts.

Yeah, I screwed up with Until Dawn, forgot it wasn't first party.

MLB Series doesn't count in your mind? It's a top selling game every year and exploded in popularity once it went multiplatform.

Killzone Shadow Fall sold over 2 million copies. It didn't kill the franchise anymore than Jak 3 killed Jak and Daxter or Resistance 3 killed Resistance. They simply moved on to things that sold better.

It's funny, I'll put myself out there to back my statements, but you guys never will. I think it's quite telling.

It's not made by a first party studio, it's a second party game similar to Insomiac was back in the day 🤔

Second-party = first-party.

Second-party is commonly used to describe a 1st party title developed by a studio not owned. Insomniac themselves explained it in the past. A recent example would be Sackboy Adventures developed by Sumo or Helldivers 2 developed by Arrowheads.

The IP was created before, but did the games sell as well? Outside of Killzone the answer is no.

Again, still waiting for your list.

MLB exploded in popularity on PS4. Still waiting for your list.

Thanks for pointing me to this list, I have the person on ignore, like yourself, so didn't see it. About to go tear it apart.

- Twisted Metal
- Gran Turismo
- Warhawk - did not sell well
- MediEvil - did not sell well
- Everybody's Golf - not developed by sony
- Cool Boarders - not developed by sony
- ParappaTheRapper - not developed by sony
- Arc The Lad - not developed by sony
- Legend of Dragoon - only sold 1 million units and did not make its budget back
- Wild Arms - not developed by sony
- Ape Escape - not a big seller

And more. Plus IPs they later acquired like Wipeout. - not a big seller

The PS2 had sequels to some of those games and added additional 1st-party titles like:

- God of War
- Dark Cloud (+ "sequels") - not developed by sony
- Mark of Kri - was a massive failure
- Okage: Shadow King - not developed by sony
- Ico - by a failed team
- Shadow of the Colossus - see above
- Jak and Daxter - naughty dog wasn't owned by sony at the time
- Ratchet and Clank - see jak and daxter
- Sly - didn't sell well
- They even had their own football game, This is Football - didn't sell well
- Siren - didn't sell well, failed team
- The Getaway - didn't sell well, failed team
- Games like SingStar, EyeToy games, Buzz - diminishing sales over time

There's no clear definition of what 2nd party is, but you're kind of correct. People define that as 2nd party. The IP is owned by publisher but development by 3rd party studio.

It sold enough to ensure sequels...
In fact, if you say Killzone Shadow Falls sales are good, the R&C ones are fantastic:

Again, still waiting for your list.

Gave you the list, still waiting for you saying you were wrong.

MLB exploded in popularity on PS4.

A series going on since the 90s, with a studio basically dedicated to it.... Sure buddy, keep moving the goalpost.

Thanks for pointing me to this list, I have the person on ignore, like yourself, so didn't see it. About to go tear it apart.

The person on ignore is me. I know it's difficult for a buggy ChatGPT version to differentiate between the different users it's replying to.

All of them are first-party titles, IPs owned by PlayStation.

Please provide the sale numbers to the games which haven't sold well. Especially considering many of them had multiple sequels. And of course, you need to weight the sales in relation to the much lower developing costs.

We all know PS5 is ahead in USA.

Behind overall.

Wait, wait wait. I was assured by people on this forum that the PS5 sales, when launch aligned with PS4 were the same.
Those same people told us that there's no way that the PS5 would fall behind PS4 sales and suggestion such was JUST DOOMING

What happened?

What has changed?

They are literally neck and neck. Most the time the PS4 is ahead and sometimes the PS5. The PS5 has caught up significantly several times with the PS4 also dipping in sales.

It’s just 2 million units behind. The PS5 has caught up from bigger margins.

Massive alarm bells.

There is no clear definition because it's a made-up term to describe that situation.

This you brah?
Provide a source. It has been behind for time.
Source provided. I proved I wasn't lying. Now what? You scurry away behind some other reddit-tier fart-huffing posts and lie about what we were discussing?

Can you not stop lying? Is it a condition you have? Literally neck and neck and then 2 million behind, but they're not behind, but everyone knows they are behind, but they're not.

Pick a lane.

@BloodMod @Bryank75 I was accused of being a liar. I provided a source. This poster accuses others of lying, dodges genuine discussion and refuses to debate with integrity and honesty.
Read their posts. Every response is accusation of being an Xbot or PC gamer, goalposts moved, drive-by arguments and reddit spacing format.

I don't want him banned, that would be cowardly. I just want the forum to know that this poster is a weasel and weasely hands type his posts.
