* exclusive to PS5 until at least --/--/----
Idk why they put that like does Nintendo does that? They make people not want to bend the knee into buying a PS console by also yelling hey this game will no longer be exclusive with a specific date

Demons souls remake has amazing graphics but botched some monster designs, absolutely destroyed the OST and added some questionable sound effects like characters screaming when they cast a spell.

So they might make the same mistake with a Bloodborne remake. Besides, with diminishing returns being a thing, who knows if there's a big enough leap in power between PS4 and PS6, to properly remake the game.
1000% wrong.

This is why im moving to PC, PS5 is dead as far as I'm concerned
PS is nothing more than a better branded & marketed Xbox.

The only saving grace they have is the delayed ports but with them being okay about harming there platform, storefront, wall garden why as a consumer & gamer invest further $ & time when in the long term only brands that have completely wall gardens like Steam, Nintendo, Apple, Meta will be the only ones standing.

PS6 gonna sell less then PS5 & PS5 might taper off faster then PS4 & sell less then PS4 Sony expecting PS5 to sell less & less not entirely sure due to PS5 also if Sony releases a native handheld that can play PS4 & PS5 essentially being a “PS5 GO” that would increase sells & extend lifespan. If PS6 releases in 2027 it will be a disappointment since PS5 doesn’t have exclusive (your already seeing this being a meme even with the casuals) & Sony trying to sell the PS6 with what time exclusive? They can show Bloodborne PS6 remake it won’t hit like previously or Nintendo exclusive since PS & PC gamers by then will say oh I’ll wait hell they might only have to wait 6 month to 1 year.

Even if gaming future is cloud you still need a piece of hardware like a portable tablet that allows you to play anywhere by carrying essentially a portable tv anywhere. The future for gaming is 100% mobile & it will likely evolve when cloud hits to being more tablets since tv, computer & traditional box console has the same issue as you can only access those hardware at home & you can’t carry outside. So in reality the long game is becoming a strong storefront instead of platform that your storefront offers exclusive games ie exclusive PS games. PS storefront must drop & make it easier for all publisher whether it’s indie or mobile publisher/studios to release there games on the PS storefront. PS storefront needs to offer all console all PC all mobile games even having a adult explicit section for gamers who’s 21+ to access porn games (even if it’s degenerous) PS storefront must become what Amazon has become to buying products online offering all & any type of genre style games not just console games.

Imo that’s the true end game for gaming & only steam rn is the closest to that but still many mobile games skip Steam store & many console/pc games slips iOS App Store. MS windows has no value & there mobile store will fail because it’s separated. Sony needs to widen the games on its own PS storefront to offer all & any games & put that under 1 storefront so you have PS console which has a storefront, PS PC & PS Mobile storefronts needs to offers the same game simultaneously & keep the PS exclusive games exclusive to PS hardware whether it’s a box console rn or next a hybrid handheld or it evolves to a portable tablet PS exclusive games needs to be under & permanently exclusive to the PS storefront because even if PS games where exclusive to the PS PC storefront it will still be able to be played on pc handhelds due to PC being more open (which is why Xbox is likely being more open like PC, so that they can get not only Xbox games but Steam & PS)

A deep thread about the very long end game of the gaming market & how it will evolve & how each gaming companies platform/storefront will compete with each other would be interesting. Rn Steam is setup pretty good there really the only one setup for this long future & I expect more mobile games to release on Steam in the future, there also getting PSVR 2 soon which furthers them as the defacto Amazon like of gaming platform/storefront

*PlayStation console exclusive
*Also on PC
*Vertical stand sold separately
*PS Plus required for PS5 users
*PSN optional for PC

How far they've fallen and braindead NPCs think Sony's doing an awesome job
Only on PlayStation:
- Paid online
- Paid saves
- No forward compatibility / patches to take advantage of better hardware
- Hardware/account ban if you do something Sony decides they don't like

Only on PC:
- DLSS
- Better graphics
- Better performance
- Better prices
- Mods
- Refunds
- Possibility of playing it nativelly on the go
- If you opt to pay for the game 30% of the money paid goes to a very good cause (Valve)
- Actual exclusive games available on the same hardware

I expect Sony to drop it like they dropped the psp, vita and VR. Sony has a terrible habit of dropping support without even really trying.

Idk why Sony is surprised its selling less, did they forget they need to actually release games. What have the first party studios been doing this past 5 years? Why was london studios closed? Sony keeps closing studios, evolution should never have been closed
Jaoan studio shouldn't have been closed

And i hate that they burnt bridges with ready at dawn and Quantic Dreams.

This company is run by idiots.

Xbox was never going to succeed, even the 360 was outsold by the ps3 despite having a year head start and being way cheaper.

If we had Bloodborne on PC we would have already had 4k mods and texture updates with a 60fps patch.

1000% wrong.

Look at the trailer and tell me the flamelurker doesn't look like a generic world of warcraft design in the remake.
Or how they completely changed the music in the tower knight, maiden astaea and fools idol fights, missing the tone.

We would even have VR support. For some reason Sony believes third person is not allowed on VR, despite their own best VR game (that they refused to update to PSVR2) being third person.

That in a month or 2. By now we would have several total conversions like the ones available on the dark souls games.

Same energy as Xbots... blue rats.

I won't pretend I'll sell my PS5 before GTAVI but after it launches things better be a lot different than they are now or I'm moving on and never looking back. I was smart enough to never actually build a digital library on PlayStation, I can actually sell my games and my console and use that money to buy better things, like Nintendo stocks.

Blue rat suckers can enjoy paying PS+ to play 30fps RDR2 and cheer Hermen Hulst.

Same here, I have a ton of physical games, the only digital games I have are the ones I got thru PS+. I have a lot of physical games I still haven't played, it's pretty much the only thing keeping me on PS. If I didn't care about physical games, no way would I buy a PS6. Nintendo should make a more powerful console that can play all the same 3rd party games PS6 can and they would destroy Sony. They could still make their own 1st party games hybrid, and let 3rd party games be optional.

Psssh, don't let you hear that in the future Nintendo and Sony might be competing for the same kind of audience and Sony would be at a disadvantage because of their current decisions.

You're too optimistic to believe timed exclusives will still be a thing by PS6 😂 Day/date for single player games is happening soon, next year at the latest. And Sony will be confused why the PS6 has the worst launch sales since PS3.

The only people that would still buy them are casuals, which is 30m-40m max. The same people that don't play the vast majority of AAA games and generate the least amount of revenue. Anyone who's even slightly passionate about gaming will move on.

And then also only the ones who usually are half/a whole generation behind because of their own financial situation, who obviously aren't the biggest spenders.

What's stoppping the casuals who only play Fortnite and Fifa from going to to PC? A lot of young people are already going Full PC thanks to Twitch streamers making it more mainstream
