You're right but Apple sucks for how much they try to keep users in their ecosystem, such as going back to proprietary chargers after USB-C was a thing. UN had to tell them to cut that out and they still wound up making regular usb-c chargers charge slower than their own arbitrarily.Never seen a company intentionally trying to kill off their goodwill and brand power like this. So much for wanting to be the Apple of Gaming.
Apple would never open up their iPhone OS and features to Android for Mythical never ending profit and endless PR nightmares

Absolute sham, these imbeciles really convinced the fans at large that they need pc sales to boost margins. 6-9 years for making a game is idiotic, To give some perspective space X went from 0 to launching reusable rockets in shorter time and people say let "Naughty Dog cook". We will be close to a manned mission to mars before ND or bend releases a game.
Seems like they will release a launcher within few years and say: ok guys here is Playstation 6, go buy RTX5080.

Valve is the only `’3rd party publisher/studio`’ that doesnt port on consoles, while Sony is giving them there best games

An app is all PlayStation will have left if they keep going the route they’re going.
Space X has billions in funding and NASA support. Something that Naughty Dog will never have.

They could stand to port some of their back catalogue to newer devices.
Left4Dead 1 & 2, Half-Life 1 & 2, Portal 1 & 2 (besides Switch), and even Team Fortress 2 if they're still supporting it. Half-Life Alyx could probably take advantage of PSVR2. Valve should get on that frankly.

If they continue doing it then it is because it is working for the business.
They are not losing console revenue and PC revenue is increasing.

Gamepass killed MS hardware… not releasing old games on PC.
It's really kind of sad gamepass has conditioned people to just...not buy games.
