Sony to Take Action as PS5, PS4 Owners Play Less Than Anticipated
Firm forecasted much better engagement

Time to ramp up the PC ports.
Actually they are...Time to ramp up the PC ports.
They'll also ramp up PC ports!Actually they are...
That is how they will take action.
- Increasing PS5 supply.
- Launching first-party games on PS5.
- Done marketing/promotions to increase engagement.
- Total gameplay time for PlayStation users declined 15% year-on-year in Q1. Gameplay time in the month of June improved 3% compared with May and was down only 10% versus June 2021, but this is a much lower level of engagement than we anticipated in our previous forecast.
- We believe the primary reason for this is that the growth of the overall game market has recently decelerated as opportunities have increased for users to go outside due to a reduction in COVID-19 infections in key markets.
- Taking this situation into account, we intend to take action to increase user engagement in the second half of the fiscal year, during which major titles including first party software are scheduled to be released, primarily by increasing the supply of PlayStation®5 (“PS5™”) hardware and promoting the new PlayStation Plus service.
- At this point in time, we have made no change to our 18 million unit sales forecast for PS5™ hardware in FY22, but since we are seeing a recovery from the impact of the lockdown in Shanghai and a significant improvement in the supply of components, we are working to bring-forward more supply into the year-end holiday selling season.
- Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC completed its acquisition of Bungie on July 15 of this year and collaboration between the two companies has begun.
- In addition, the acquisition of Haven Entertainment Studios, announced in March, was completed on June 27. In addition to enhancing the content development capability of our existing studios, we are working to strengthen our first-party software by creating new IP and accelerating the roll-out of live game services and multi-platform titles through synergies with the studios we have acquired.
Did they? For the second-half of 2022 (the time they are taking actions to increase engagement) the PC ports are the same as before... Uncharted, Spider-man & Miles Morales. They'll also ramp up PC ports!

You can read what Sony said in my previous posts... nothing about ramp up PC ports.
Where are you getting an $80 million revenue figure? Also ROI for PC gamers is considerably higher than in their console market. While smaller we as individuals are more valuable than you.His world revolves around PC. All solutions to everyone problems are PC PC and PC only.
Sony made 80 million revenue from PC this year out of a total 25 billion and this guy thinks PC is the solution. Go figure.
You just posted something with this quote though:Did they? For the second-half of 2022 (the time they are taking actions to increase engagement) the PC ports are the same as before... Uncharted, Spider-man & Miles Morales.

Which they're already using. You just posted something with this quote though:
Hard to say if that has anything to do with PC ports, but they did buy a PC port company.

You got to save that money that goes into the high end GPU somewhere.
Yes PC individuals are more valuable considering the majority of console gamers buy their games and PC gamers pirate their games for free.
Days Gone, HZD and GOW torrent download numbers are proof enough. More people downloaded the games for free than the numbers shown in the image above.
Yes, the sales and money is so great where you're at that they're coming to us with your games begging us to buy them.A few million sales on PC is nothing. Consoles are where it's at
Why have they excluded titles... Death Stranding appears no where there and that clearly made it to six figures also.

I don't think Death Stranding was published by Sony on PC.. meaning they didn't make money on it.Why have they excluded titles... Death Stranding appears no where there and that clearly made it to six figures also.
