Oh yeah, I just saw the new numbers. 76% seems good until you realize it's had double digit declines almost every month this year. This is august. I think he is probably referring to some preliminary data for the first week of September that he has. I don't think we get weekly data from UK and I'm not sure that this " jump" in sales is not going to equalize itself in the next 3 weeks, so who know if we would ever testify this increase ? We' ll see
went from 1000 sales to 1760 salesGI.biz report :
- 76% boost over last week (before SF release).
- The best Xbox week of the year.
- XSX sales up 46% for the week ending September 2.
- The week ending September 9 is the 2nd best week of the year.
- The new 1TB XSS accounts for 24% of sales this week.
- In the week ending September 9, XSS 1TB accounted for 20% of sales.
Just %, no real figures.
It's hard to measure this boost!

a boost is a boost and that is the point :Oh yeah, I just saw the new numbers. 76% seems good until you realize it's had double digit declines almost every month this year.
weren't you predicting triple digit % increases? well it's not hitting that on launch week, and the momentum is just going to go down from therea boost is a boost and that is the point :
software sales hardware.
not predicting but laying down different scenarios by the end of this quarterweren't you predicting triple digit % increases? well it's not hitting that on launch week, and the momentum is just going to go down from there
Sales actually went up 7% . So yeah he does think it's a strong jump, just like he thinks Starfield is the biggest game of the year. If 7% is big to him, I wonder what 42% would be,

Edit: Thank you.Based on last month's figures, this gives a weekly average of :
~20.5k for the PS5
~6.9k for the Switch
~6.1k for Xbox
+76% for the week ending September 2, that's give us ~10.7k for XSX+S
Well, these are just estimates, but it's still better than nothing.
We have sales trends for the past few months from the UK that show the xbox at the low 20ks. Can someone do the math of a 74 percent increase for a week? Like we're talking 7-8k for the week. Thats horrendous.

Thank you. Starfield did absolutely nothing for xbox in its second best market.26k for the previous month.
So thats 6.5K a week.
This week theres been a jump of 76% so 4.9K more consoles have been sold this week.
11.4K consoles sold this week.
A jump of basically 5 thousand for the week.
Sony is doing 80K a month currently before Spiderman 2 even arrives.
nothing = 0.Thank you. Starfield did absolutely nothing for xbox in its second best market.

Horrendous. Whats the average concurrent user on steam now that the weekends over?Yep still being outsold 2 to 1 for this week.
Can it maintain it for the month? Doubt it.
Spiderman 2 is also around the corner.
