I really like the Witcher 3 and it's not unplayable for me, however the combat is pretty terrible. To be fair most WJRPG have bad combat systems.
See the multi-awarded The Witcher III... it is mediocre in terms of combat but everybody get blind about that part and just talk about how good everything else is.
The Witcher III is the perfect example of unplayable to me even when I liked the story, presentation and core game design.
Skyrim the same... people are into Bestelda games for the story telling... not gameplay, presentation or bugs.
I wish we could have both... a Witcher game with good combat system.
i had no problem with Witcher 3 combat at all on PC. not sure how it was on consoles. but maybe gonna play it on PS5.To be fair most WJRPG have bad combat systems.

Okay first off one is an actual video game while the other one is more of a survival experience, and secondly No Man's Sky did not invent resource harvesting.never forget.
Shameless rip off game mechanics

It's a shameless rip off if you have basically no reference to video games in general. They're both just a catch-all of mechanics in other games that have been around for a very long time.
A space game with mechs, shocking. A space game with planetary stations and gun battles, wow. A space game with space battles, amazing. Wow this astronaut has a jetpack, that's unheard of.
This is all just generic expectation of a space fairing game. Ridiculous.
I mean it the exactly same combat on PC... and it is worst on KB&M than on Controller.i had no problem with Witcher 3 combat at all on PC. not sure how it was on consoles. but maybe gonna play it on PS5.
yes, it isn't best thing from sliced bread, but still it was good. not impactful as could be, more like loose..
Maybe they are just LTTP... I mean the game is in development way before NMS was announced.... it is probably near a decade now.So you're going to just ignore the mechanics that have been lifted directly from no man's sky? Like, how things actually work and are presented? You're ridiculous, straight from a ban and already lying through your teeth
Yes, it's all a remarkable coincidence. Especially the mechs, amazing Hello Games managed to catch up to a decade of Starfield concepts in development within half that time.Maybe they are just LTTP... I mean the game is in development way before NMS was announced.... it is probably near a decade now.
General similarities in two games which try to depict space and planetary related activities don't mean anything was lifted from something else. All of these things you're whining about right now are very basic mechanics in a multitude of other games particularly space related ones.So you're going to just ignore the mechanics that have been lifted directly from no man's sky? Like, how things actually work and are presented? You're ridiculous, straight from a ban and already lying through your teeth

Biggest creative coincidence in the history of mankind since Newton and Leibniz.Yeah, I'm sure no man's sky Devs plagiarised literal bits of game mechanics from something they never saw. Yeah
I never said anything related to that but Starfield is in development since 2013.Yeah, I'm sure no man's sky Devs plagiarised literal bits of game mechanics from something they never saw. Yeah
the other its a videogame too, and in some ways more ambitious than starfield,on its skyrim with a space coat paint and using you fake space ship to land with a cutscene, the other is a real space simulatorOkay first off one is an actual video game while the other one is more of a survival experience,

This is a clear case of learning from his many many many mistakes.Very happy that this is Spencer's approach.
Yeah totally agree on the witcher combat. Im giving it one last chance with the next gen upgrade. To be fair most WJRPG have bad combat systems.
