Andrew House released Sony games on PC, like the other SIE CEOs. The current strategy of bumping their GaaS business and PC ports started with him.

He and Shuhei Yoshida greentlighted and published Sony games that released in PC like Helldivers 1, Guns Up!, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. They also greenlighted games that have been published by other CEOs like Predator Hunting Grounds or Helldivers 2.

None of those are big PS titles. Im fine with the Gaas business, never complained about it and welcomed Factions 2.
Im complaining about the likes of God of War, Spiderman, Horizon, TLOU, Uncharted going to PC etc.

I also believe Everybody’s gone to Rapture is owned by the developers themselves, the Chinese Room. It was being developed before Sony helped them

I think Gran Turismo would benefit greatly from pc release. Dealing with car licenses, live service demands from players, it’s surely expensive and has long dev times. It’s also best in class and will dominate.

Can't wait to see how Polyphony will handle a PC port and how long it would take.

To me it seems obvious that of all the Sony games it would be the one to make the most money on PC, I'm impressed they have resisted the temptation so far (or is simply taking a long time to port it most likely).

I literally spoke to a old Destiny buddy today, I asked him if he’s got a PS5.
He said no, no point he’s gonna play the games on PC and got a PC for game developing, no need for a PS5 ( we always spoke about making an indie game )

So 3 friends, plus my brother who were all hardcore PS gamers have migrated to PC… Compared to the new teens who come and by 1-2 games a year like GTA or Fifa, thats money lost.
I will join them as soon as PS does day 1 releases on PC.

How common it is for a kid or college student these days to own a Notebook? The igpu on your average notebook is getting pretty good these days, Sony should be glad Apples sucks at supporting games and that Nvidia/Intel/AMD never cared too much about making eGPU an viable option.

Given how little proper AAA games taking advantage of PS5 hardware are, the office notebook is going to be able to run the bulk of most popular games, the 780m probably already beats the Series S.

It might not be actually do to the fact that even though most households have pcs they don't all have have them built to run high quality games especially with the ever increasing spec requirements nowadays. It's still simpler and much cheaper to manage just a console.

I didn't say it wouldn't be successful on PS5. I said it's a sensation because of PC. If there was no PC version and PS5 still made up 100% of those sales, we wouldn't know it, and it wouldn't be driving the enthusiast news cycle for weeks.

Majority of pc players have pc. People will skip playstation instead of waiting for pc release. Helldivers Is an example were games like gow and others didn't manage to get the same players. Just watch and see the decline of pc hardware. Xbox literally manage to sell less than xbone which is literally better hardware

They aren't willing to address issues to improve the console business, but want to put a band aid over it by thinking going more multiplat is going to solve their issues. When in reality that strategy will further damage the console business
